Is there any meat or fish in it? If it's just cous cous and veg it will be fine as long as there are no flies in your kitchen. I'm assuming there aren't if it's as cold where you are as it is where I am today!!0

Thanks HH62 - no meat or fish in it, and the kitchen is cold overnight really as I don't bother having the radiator on in there. I think i'll make sure it gets well reheated!Everything will be ok in the end, if everything's not ok then it's not the end0

I'm cautious in situations like this but if I knew there were no flies in the kitchen I'd eat it. Wouldnt in the summer (yea I know, what summer, lol) though.0

I got some chilli out of the freezer on Wednesday night and defrosted it overnight at room temperature. Since Thursday morning it's been in the fridge. Do you think it will be ok to eat today, or dodgy by now? CK is refusing to eat it, the wuss.0

If you reheat it through thoroughly, and it doesn't smell / taste off, it should be perfectly fine.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Thank you, tomterm. I just told CK what you said and he doesn't believe you  He's decided to have an omelette instead. More for me then
Wait til he sees we have no eggs...0 -
I would not eat it, but then I have a very delicate constitution
, report back tomorrow and let us know if it was ok.

It'll be fine. I've had stuff in the fridge for over a week before re-heating and eating. If it looks OK, smells OK and tastes OK, then chances are it's fine.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Hmm, ok... I think I'll go and sniff it and make a decision from there. There's other stuff that can be defrosted, but I hate to throw a meal out.
I shall report back tomorrow on the results of chilligate.0
