  • Hi

DS needs to appeal the decision explaining exactly what you told us - sanctions are usually 6 months  but if you appeal this can be reduced to about 4 weeks :T

At the same time as appealing he should claim hardship as this is looked at quicker than an appeal.

Hardship is paid at about £37 pw

Thanks for that, strangely this coincides with them stopping contribution based and putting him on income based. I'll go through the form with him.

    Morning

    ****rant alert*****

As anybody who *knows* me is aware, I get my emails on my Blackberry, but sometimes I want to send an attachment so use a "real" computer. Today google asked for my birthday before allowing me to access my account. You can't skip the page. AND .......you have to put the date in US format! I was going to put a fake date 01/01/70 for example, but have read about people who've been locked out of their account and google then ask for a copy of ID to verify your details.

    Apparently it's some US regulation.
So why does it affect people outside the US:mad:

anyway, I'm not playing, I've taken my ball away and I'm sulking.

I can't remember my password to my live account.... but my computer and phone can so I can still get in - I just can't change my password or set up a new email account to send lost password details to.... I can even tell them the folder structure of my account but they still said I couldn't prove I was me HUH?

Argh! Not surprised you're ranting! I use gmail for my work email, and they often ask for my mobile number - the "skip" button is hidden in the text, barstewards .... you go girl!

    Morning

I've been asked for my mobile number before, and always skip it, they have to give you that option as you may not have one. But everyone has a DOB!!
I'm still deciding what to do; I can't see why they need it. I don't want them to have it.

    Anyhoo, in Glasgow today!

    Back later

Oh good! I was wondering about contacting their help facility .... but its amazing what they'll do if you simply refuse to answer - I suspect they're trying to take over the world. And I'm sure you're right about not giving them more information than they need. Speaking of which, I'm sure I gave f/b my birth date .... I better log in and erase it before it comes around ....

But Google can't take over the world....
Firewalker is going for world domination!!

It is something to do with a piece of FEDERAL legislation which means that under 13's can't have an email address without an adult consent.

US government on the other hand may want to take over the world!
