That's good going!
I've been back for ages but then I do only live 'round the corner'. Straight train journey all the way through, but a bit busy once we hit the city centre - chucking out time at all the shops!
Had a lovely afternoon, in lovely company; certainly blew the cobwebs away!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Morning
silly o'clock on a Saturday can only mean one thing! GP weekend again :j
Had a really busy week, some things were cancelled due to 'internal politics' so I ended up doing system testing in Manchester. Normally on a client visit you finish at about 4, but we ended up staying till after 6 on 2 nights. Good job I didn't have far to go.
Next week again I'm hit by cancellations, which means that November I'm almost living in Scotland! One day in Glasgow next week, but need to get on to central diary just to make sure nothing else has changed :undecided
Money, good news and bad news. I'm doing fine. DS didn't get the job he had the interview for, and to add insult to injury has had his benefit stopped because he didn't apply for a job they sent him. The fact that he didn't have any of the essential skills, so wouldn't have got it seems irrelevant. I suppose he should have just 'played the game' - he also couldn't have got there before 9 am or worked after 7pm because of the unreliability of that particular bus service; he did tell them this.
He's also applied for lots of jobs under his own steam, but that seems to mean nothing.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Poor DS! Can he appeal? That doesn't seem fair at all
Are the cancellations for your work just one of those things, or a problem in the making?
Anyway, enjoy the GP!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Cancellations are just one of those things, customer can't get all the people together; but it means that as my bit is the first bit in the project, it ultimately affects a lot of people.
GP qualifying was good, looking forward to the race tomorrow.
Off to the shops in a bit, and then will do some cooking and some 'crafty' stuff.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Safe to come on here now
Pity they could not have blocked out the front row but not complaining!
Sorry to hear that DS has not had the best of weeks
