Afternoon all
Jellycat40 - If you live close enough then you're more than welcome to pop in for a cofffee
Feeling much better today - tired but not aching and no sore throat :j Went to watch DD2 swimming - well less swimming and more waving to me but there was water involved. Then we popped to pick up a tv from a freecycler....the one in our bedroom went "ping" a few days ago, the tube had been going for ages and we sort of enjoyed watching things in pink and greenAnyway - the freecycle one is lovely - 24" with a built in video recorder - I'm always amazed at what people give away.
Popped to asda and tesco to check out the bargins - didn't get any though.
DD1 had a play audition today for the local am dram group - she's 1st understudy for 3 main parts ( ) She'll be in the chorus if she doesn't get to do a main part but really proud of her - I wouldn't have the nerve to get up on stage......She got a speaking part last year and was fantastic (biased? Me??? noooo!! lol)
OS wise - no heating on all day - trying to cut back - it's chilly in here now but DD's have put jammies and dressing gowns on and we're all layered up. Might light a fire later but after we've eaten we'll all snuggle under a duvet to watch a film so might be no point.
Dinner tonight will be pasta with broccoli, ham and cheese sauce with garlic bread.....just need to get off my backside to make a cheese sauce in a bit.
DD1 has a school entry exam tomorrow morning so fingers crossed please!

Hi everyone,
Moggins My dd's first teacher was like that. She also taught ds (3 years younger) who she loved because he was very well behaved. DD would always finish her work and then want something else to do and the woman couldn't cope. I was talking to her once and she was telling me how lovely ds was and I said "Yes, he's very placid, he takes after his dad" She said "Well I won't ask who DD takes after"

I think he has gone before he was pushed as well!!! Im glad tho, thought he was really nice at first, but he really has been getting on my nerves!!!
Wonder if they will put anyone else in, seeing that so many celebs have walked, and they are still doing the eviction!!!!0 -
To cap it all off DD has now started crying with a pain in her ear. I've already dosed her up with Calpol and phoned the doctors, just waiting for the triage nurse to ring us back as she can either issue a prescription or get her straight in to see a doctor.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Yes, cheesy tho' it is I like his music. It didn't suit him trying to be all rebellious and swearing a lot.
He should be happier now.

Hi everyone
What a day - so dark and dingy. I'm getting really sick of this weather. Oh to be somewhere sunny.
It is my OH birthday today - I don't envy people who have winter birthdays, tho' in previous years it always snowed on this day.
Cleaned some more skirting boards and rearranging.
This cleaning is making me hungry, so ate some leftover Christmas cake, Wensleydale cheese and a bag of Walker Lites, washed down with a milky coffee.
Breakfast was pineapple juice, Rice Krispies, topped with Ricicles and a cuppa Lady Grey tea.
Tea will be bitsa or whatever my husband wants. It is too manky to go out and we have a long hard day tomorrow moving stuff into storage.
He, our son and a couple of his mates will be moving stuff tomorrow in a rented van. Trying to keep this MS/OS, as the costs of cleaners, removal men etc is so much. Will be having Tesco on offer pizzas, value garlic bread and copious beer or soft drinks left over from Christmas, as their payment, plus maybe a tenner each if they don't break anything or damage anything.
My son tidied his room but forgot to dust so wrote some silly graffitti in the dust:D I have to get my kicks somehow.
My lamb curry turned out well in the SC but wasn't spicy enough but tasty, best to underdo than burn their mouths off:D
I am so tired, this cold is dragging on and I get tired very quickly, so napping and resting a lot, in between jobs.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

The nearest ones are over the water I can see if you are in west Fife. Bo'ness is near Kincardine bridge.
Our nearest ones are Broxburn and Livingston. They are pretty quiet too when we go too.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi all,
Sorry I haven't read the thread through yet, just feel like I need to post.
One of the girls in my youngest sister's class committed suicide on monday night as she was being bullied. I only found out today and for some reason it has really upset me. I was in a class with the girls brother, although I didn't really know him or his family. The little girl was only 14, and apparently had been told by her bullies that her life wasn't worth living and that nobody would care if she died.
I'm really worried for my sister now (which is silly I know but I can't help it!!) I posted on the daily a while back about how she's the only one left at home since my other sister moved to London in September, and that she was feeling really lonely. I try and speak to her every day on MSN but she won't tell me 'personal' stuff as she worries that mum or dad will see what she's saying as their PC is in an 'open' space. I've spoken to her today and said that if there's ever any problem whatsoever she should tell me as although I live far away (about an hour drive over wild moors), she's still my little sister and I'll still help her out... For the last hour I've been sat in tears thinking *what if someone makes a throwaway comment like that to her and she believes it because me and Caz (my other sister) aren't at home to tell her otherwise*sorry to bring the thread down, I just needed to get that out of my system

Big hugs Roz.
Not sure what to say really, just keep doing what your doing, you have told your little sis that you are there for her no matter what, and that will have ment alot to her.
Keep up the msn and phone calls and im sure she is fine

Oh Roz_V that is so sad, 14 years old, she must have been so unhappy, i feel chocked just thinking of it. I have a daughtewr of 12.5 and some of the kids in her school can be so cruel to people, there seems to be a group that are never happy till they have inflicted misery on someone, my daughter has often come home so upset. The girls parents must be devastated, i hope yur sister is ok, she is bound to be upset. I hope that the school can find out who the bullies are. Im sure that she is glad that you talk to her, hugs to you both x x x
