Thanks lil_me, I think they do deliver in our area but for some reason I always spend more when I get a delivery than when I go in and look around   That even includes the money I spend getting clothes for my boys from George!

Definitely worth thinking about though when time is short. Especially as it would mean I don't have to heft the kids in and out of the car every time....... I didn't know they did codes there, thanks for that tip, I will check out the codes forum.

PS Sorry also meant to say I was sorry about your DP's step-mum's mum, she sounded like a lovely lady from what you said :(

thanks for the support from all you os'ers. i do feel a little better following my group therapy but i do think that i could do with a group of friends to have coffee with sometimes as therapy is not the place for chit chat and i get lonely sometimes.

    Afternoon

redspot24, I hope that you are feeling better now. I'm afraid that I can't offer much advice as I am a perfectionist too, which is what tires me out. What I find, is that I get stressed at work when I am overtired, so I try and get at least 8 hours sleep a night, which is what I need to be able to function well. I used to do yoga which I found a great help too with relaxation.

jellycat40, I am sorry that you sometimes feel lonely. Are there any classes held locally where you could get to meet others?

I have just made some Golden Oat Cookies using catznine's recipe and they are scrumptious :D I'm afraid that I was greedy and took one straight from the oven and because they were still hot it has given me toothache:o That will teach me.

I must go, DH has just arrived home.

    Chat later.

Good afternoon all - hope we are all

Its still windy here, driving home and saw all the bins which was emptied this morning, all blown over, looks like skittles on the pavements.

catowen, our doctors are terrible, if you want an appt you have to call at 8.30am on that morning. No guarantees you will through on the phone, and when you do, most of the appt's have gone, they offer the doctor on call to call you, for a phone consultation. You cant book appt's no more in advance at the reception. The only good thing sometimes, is when your seeing a doctor, they might book an advance appt for you.

Im so glad this week's over, Im very tired today, I came home and put some water in the kettle for a brew. Went to the loo, came back, (washed my hands of course) poured the water in the cup (4got to put the tea bag in), then relaised the water was stone cold, I forgot to switch the kettle on!! Im ready for bed!!!

DLB this new Lidl store - is it where the old Sommerfield used to be?
Nice of the inspector to keep you informed ref fence. they pulled up this morning as I was going to school, and saw them dropping off your bits (not literally tho). Well done also for hitting your target on ebay, I didn't do too bad from last nights sales.

My ex text me a while ago, to say he's not well, he thinks he's got the flu! And hinted that he hopes the kids dont catch it. He fetches them on a friday after school and brings them home at 8.30pm. Just hope its not another excuse for him not to have them!

Got to attempt the PO in a while and post the ebay parcels.

Anyway, have a good evening all, take care & love as usual xxx

    Afternoon everyone

What was a good day is turning rapidly into a rotten one. I got some lovely reduced meat from Tesco. Mum has bought 3 new pairs of shoes for DD, 2 pairs of the shoes will have to go away as they are too big but I'll stick them in the bottom of DD's wardrobe until they fit. She also bought DS a pair of jeans in Tesco this morning which were very welcome as he's shooting up all the time. They were also giving away bags of mini stollen and brandy barrel chocolates in Lidl this morning. I was thinking of making a sort of pudding with the mini stollen and some custard.

Then I went to pick DD up from school and the day deteriorated. She came out crying her eyes out as the teacher had sent her out of the classroom and made her stand in the corridor for something that wasn't her fault and wouldn't even listen to her side of the story. I swear this teacher dislikes her because of her self confidence and high IQ! She's already threatened my DD with sitting doing maths sheets when the other children are doing fun time because DD told her she was bored.
