Yodel - shockingly bad - email address anyone?

Got home recently to find a card saying my delivery was in the dustbin. That's Yodel!

BLACKPOLE depot are absolutely useless! At the moment, Little woods, very and is me are using them. I have ordered from two of theses three only to find that some items were almost delivered to the wrong address as the driver either didn't know whaere I lived or didn't bother to read the address properly. The other Parcel, they rang me 3-4 times in one night to arrange an appointment to deliver, I planned my entire week around this aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand surprise surprise, they DON'T deliver!. I am an electric wheelchair user and need huge amounts of help, not only to open my front door but to have stuff put together and brought in etc. I now have no one to be able to collect it this week and no one to put it together for me. There are people coming to pick up the old furniture, including my bed so I will have no where to sleep!!! To top it all, I am expected to sort it al out because these companies are useless!!

Wow... apparently I signed for a delivery today at 12:28 and its my word against their's... Anyway lets see if twitter can help!

Ordered some items from Ebay & was quoted Maximum 10 days delivery. Contacted the company when I hadn't received anything only to be told they had shipped it Via Yodel a couple of days after placing my order and that YODEL had delivered it to a "Safe Place"

Finally found it by side gate to back garden soaking wet (box fell apart when I picked it up due to rain damage!)

Fortunately seller had double wrapped the item so that goods were not damaged

What a shame YODEL didn't put a card through the letterbox!

Obviously YODEL get lots of complaints as Helpline is premium rate number (guess this deters many from phoning)

Left a message with online advisor who promised to get someone to contact me but am still waiting (What a surprise!!)

This is the second occasion I have had poor service from this company last item was put into my freshly emptied dustbin (but found it just in time before covering it with household rubbish!)

Would never recommend this company to anyone and will now always ask sellers what courier service they use....if it's Yodel then I won't be buying from them

PS my nearest depot is a 30 mins drive from me so won't waste fuel gong to complain in person anyway doubt if they would listen anyway!)

Just another addition to the very long list of dissatisfied Yodel customers.

I belong to a mail order company and their deliveries are now made by Yodel.

On 2 occassions my parcels have been sent to the wrong Yodel depot and had to be re-routed to the correct one.

With the mail order company I can track my parcel and on 3 occassions I have received information that the parcels had been loaded onto the van for delivery that day but all 3 failed to arrive.

On the last occassion (yesterday) the reason given for non delivery was that the driver could not gain access to the flats where I live.

How come then that all the other Yodel drivers, when they actually did deliver, were able to gain access?

One delivery person is miserable and to be honest surly. He hates having to sign for parcels which have to be returned and on the one occassion we neglected to get a signature from him that parcel did not arrive back at the mail order company.

I tried to contact Yodel with their on-line form and because I did not have a tracking or collection code I could not submit the form. The mail order company never gives the Yodel tracking or collection code.

I was only permitted 1500 character on Yodel's on-line form which is simply not enough.

When I tracked my order the final comment about the undelivered parcel made by Yodel was that I should contact them to arrange another delivery.

If I was not on the Internet and not able to track the parcel how on earth would I know the reason for the non delivery and how would I know that I had to contact them in order to arrange another delivery?

What happens to parcels that are not delivered? Are they kept for a few days and then returned to the sender?

On one occassion when a parcel failed to arrive as it should have I contacted the Yodel depot who were responsible for the delivery and was told that they would investigate it and get back to me. This was weeks ago and I am still waiting for them to contact me.

The only email address to contact Yodel I could find is:

She is the Head of Customer Relations.

Surprise. surprise after emailing her I got an immdiate auto reply saying she was out of the office and if the email relates to a parcel enqiury I should email:

Having searched the Yodel site I cannot see the Customer Care email address anywhere. Yodel boasts a worldwide delivery network but does not appear to be able to put a simple contact email address onto their website.

My experience with Yodel to date has been nothing but a catalogue of errors and mistakes and the bad reviews about this company are phenomenal and must be a contender for the Guinness Book of Records. These bad reviews are not solely related to the Money Saving Expert site.

Its been a while since I have ordered online from Argos,tonight I remembered why. Argos use Yodel to deliver the small stuff. Trouble is they don't, at least not to me.

This is the second time they have made me wait in all day for nothing. Useless bunch of time wasters .
If the Depression we are going into sorts the men from the boys I hope this company are first out of business ASAP.

I was wrong it was my mistake,I misunderstood the situation. Yodel came through and I got my package.

I had no idea Yodel used to be HDNL, that explains everything. So awful when they were HDNL that I stopped shopping with Amazon: damaged items, no shows, no delivery cards, didn't give a monkeys when you contacted them. Recent experience much of the same - complete lies that they had attempted delivery, disinterested bordering on rude when I called to complain. :mad:

I'd throw a party if they became a 'victim' of the recession.
