Yodel - shockingly bad - email address anyone?

they didnt take over DHL, they got sold to HDNL. Unfortunately i dont recognise any of those addresses but good luck in your quest
DHL domestic services were bought out by Yodel a year ago! It is also true that HDNL re-branded as Yodel around the same time.
Unfortunately the DHL side of Yodel offers an abysmal service (in my area) as they use home delivery couriers. I'm still waiting for a parcel which has been "out for delivery" since Wednesday!!
I have absolutely no way of knowing which side of the operation will be delivering when a company states they use Yodel now, which is a shame because the HDNL side is exemplary but as I'm usually only home one day a week to receive deliveries I need a far more reliable service than they can provide.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

pretty sure this is the right address for them, just googled dhl service centre hayes. google still has the old dhl listings
Keith House, North Hyde Road, Hayes, UB3 4PU 08442480535
the phone number looks right to, probably gives you a list of options, generally option 4 will take you thru to the branch.
I went to this address first and it was the right one. Thank you.0 -
We ordered a new Dyson from Pixmania along with one extra tool. The extra tool turned up on Tuesday within the 2-3 day delivery slot. The Dyson did not turn up and the Yodel site has said they were unable to find us! (but the other Yodel driver had no problem!)
Yodel CS couldnt care less and put out for re delivery on Thurs, this time they said nobody in and card left, well we had no card and my partner was in all day!
Spoke to Yodel, their CS was totally rude and actually laughed at me,
Spoke to Pixmania who made all the right noises, saying it was totally unacceptable. They have pushed Yodel head office who have said it will def be done as a special today.
One hour later it shows on their website as a failed delivery, card left. Pixmania spoke to them and they they said oh, take no notice of the website says, it will be out.
4.45 and still no show, what odds it will turn up now?
I think I know the answer!!!!0 -
Pixmania & Yodel
thats some combination0 -
For all those of us getting "failed delivery/card left" messages on tracking when no delivery has been attempted, it's not actually the courier updating these, it's down to the depot who are covering their backs for having piled on far too many parcels for the courier to cope with!
I finally received my parcel 5 days late and had a chat with the delivery guy about the problems. He wasn't actually working the day my parcel had a "failed delivery" and the guy who was supposed to collect the manifest from him for that day failed to show up so it sat in his garage all day! The day before he'd been given 174 drops to do in ONE DAY!!!
What an absolute joke Yodel (DHL) are and they're giving a very bad name to Yodel (HDNL)“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
174 drops for me would be around 13 hours clocked time(no breaks), totally illegal and a damn sight more than the 8 hours we're contracted to.0

I ordered some books from Amazon.. Yodel lost them!
Had to have an investigation in to where the books were (I wouldn't have minded but they were quite important Law books for my studies!). After the investigation they finally arrived... not in the packaging Amazon had sent them in though!
Then, just 2 weeks ago I bought something from eBay.
It was sent via 48 hour service (so 2 working day service) and it arrived some 4 working days after they had collected it - I even paid like £30 for this delivery + Insurance!SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,0000 -
Does anyone have the telephone number for the Sheffield Office? I was given this: 0844 248 0516 Option 4, tried to search for an alternative on Say No To, but no results!
They have had my parcel sat there 'awaiting collection' since last Saturday! So much for 'Money Saving'0 -
It's on Park House Lane near Meadowhall or possibly at Chesterfield depot on Carrwood rd.Both depots cover similar areas.0

I had a phone call from Virgin on friday saying that I can have a new contract phone. Yay I thought as I had had my last phone for 2 years. Then they said that if I paid £7.99 I could have it next day. But delivery would be an all day delivery 7am - 9pm. No problems I thought.
I got up saturday morning really excited couldnt wait for my new phone. Checked on their website where you can track you parcel. all it said was "Load Transfer Receipt (NORTHAMPTON SERVICE CENTRE)" Didnt know what that meant but apparently it was done the day before.
so I waited, and waited, and waited. At 6.30pm after waiting in all day the website finally updated and said "Arrived at Depot (Lichfield Service Centre) this was at 06.08am that day. After another hour I phoned Virgin to say that I hadnt received my phone. they checked the details and said that it was to late to have a delivery. even though Yodel are supposed to deliver up until 9pm. I wold now have to wait until Monday.
It is now Monday at 6.25pm and guess what. Still no phone. I called Virgin at 4pm so they would be able to call Yodel, being that they are the customer and not me. As I know that customer services close at 5pm. Virgin called Yodel and was told that it is on the delivery van. That was 2 1/2 hours ago and still nothing.
Yodel's website only gives an 0844 number, and when I have tried to call them, all I get is an automated service that states that they are still waiting for information.
I have spent the day looking for an email address for Jonathan smith who is the CEO of Yodel to complain to him. but have found nothing. Is this man hiding away or something. All I want is my new phone.0
