Seems that my internal score has changed this month.

Have applied and been accepted for £1000 overdraft on my new accounts so now have £1000 overdraft across my four current accounts. Can also upgrade to any of the added value accounts against any of my classic vantage accounts.
isnt that risky applying for an increase twice in only a few days? If they refused you for £50 last week why would they approve £1000 this week?
  • Hopefully to try clarify around the online banking log ins - if you are an old customer, you user ID will work still on both the Halifax and BOS websites, as it used to. Any new customers after 12th Sept, when they sign up for online banking, they have to register on just one site, so will have to have separate user ID's if the want to use the Halifax and BOS sites.
Lloyds is most definitely seperate. So customers might end up with 3 different log ins if they have accounts with all 3 depending on when they've registered.
This might be what the helpdesk is advising (or trying to) for anyone thats asked them.

So do customers registering now with Halifax see only accounts branded Halifax not BoS (and vice versa)?
    Are you a HBOS employee?
    God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.

Perhaps but the fact is they did approve after the monthly update.

I used to be able to log in via Halifax and BoS. Now I can only log in via Halifax.

I can view my accounts with both Halifax and BoS.

I suspect that if I opened a new BoS account now, it wouldn't show on my Halifax log in (but my old BoS ones would!).

    I think. :D

Odd. I was originally a BoS customer but now only have Halifax accounts. I can still logon through either site with the same details.

Yes, new customers registering can register on one site and the log on will only work for that site and view accounts for that brand.
    Existing online customers aren't affected.
And yes to the other bit :o
