New Halifax Account Range?

I have checked and double checked regarding the reward current account. It is definately not available for me! I can upgrade to the ultimate reward but not the reward. As soon as I click upgrade it will only let me have the ultimate reward current account. When I log out of internet banking and then click on current accounts available, the reward account is there and available, so I am wondering if it is only available to new customers not existing current account holders?

Did you click "compare with all accounts" at the bottom of the page ?

You may need to visit a branch to change to a Reward account , the option to change from a current account to a Reward account was not available using the earlier version of internet banking either

No search for me, I have checked Noddle (yesterday was my month start) and also Equifax. Both blank but new account shows on Equifax with a U (unclassify) status.

With the BoS brand being made the Scottish Lloyds Bank, does this mean that BoS customers will be able to use Lloyds branches outside Scotland and Lloyds customers be able to use BoS branches when in Scotland (especially when all the Scottish TSB branches are sold)?

If this is the case, will that mean that BoS customers will no longer be able to use Halifax branches and vice versa or will this continue with the added bonus of Halifax customers being able to use Lloyds branches?

I had the offer of a second account in ''My Offers'' so clicked on it and today it has shown up on my online banking.
Now 3 weeks ago got accepted for an Halifax loan, only 1300 and accepted, have their Clarity Card and overdraft on my Reward account.

Anyway, applied for an £150 overdraft on this second account and it came up a Sorry!!! So I wonder if getting the loan as put my internal score down a bit? Any thoughts, also no checks on the CRA's.......

I was told by halifax that soon we will be able to uses lloyds branch, we dont have a local halifax to us.

Mine did same. If you wait a month and fund with £1000 you might get a yes. I did that on my original account, it said (old system) my guaranteed limit was £0 but after my reward payment the next month it said my guaranteed limit was £100.

Obviously that system is dead now but maybe the same princaple is aplied to get a overdraft. Where is the my offers page now? Is it on Halifax or bos site? I can't find it on either site?

Also were you searched for loan and was it instant or guaranteed or did you have to wait a day for decision? Could you please talk us through process. It might help other.

The offers appear in the same place as they do on Lloyds TSB internet banking - below current/savings accounts and above credit card accounts

The offers do not appear all the time
