  • They should not tell you the limit on the screen but rather say something along the lines of "Tell me in £10 or bigger amounts" and when you get close we will tell you hot or cold :)

Also, CPD is a funny thing - It can come one day and go another.. Some people get offers for Loans etc, but think they will look over it for a few days till it's gone. Then they can come again and go as they please!
Ok thanks. I had a guarantee of £100 on old system so think that will be same, my account is only 2 month old. :D

I do have a full debit card and also overdraught of £100 so not too bad.
  • the second account I apply for on sunday still not show a roll number on my accounts so maybe it get declined oops

Thank you this makes a lot of sence to me now. I think I might have had a cpd then it was removed when I open my 2 saving account last week? Thats all that changed, other than my transfer in on 14th of £2500 which I transfer back to nationwide the next day.

As long as you keep your Current Accounts in good shape, and your Credit Agreements elsewhere in the same nick and simply don't overstretch yourself you should find that you don't get CPD.

Although not set in stone OK but I have CPD99 because I have a few defaults which I am awaiting to fall off.

As above, as long as you stick to the rules and keep the account active then I can't see why they would not wan't to continue to offer you what you already have. But at the end of the day, I'm not the bank and as you already no doubt know they COULD remove your Overdraft anytime they like.
    David :)
£1 of debt is too much for me!

    Hi

I wanted to know if you get given the option to open an secondary current account by only filling in your password on the halifax website. Is this credit checked or is it guaranteed without a credit check.

Also does this mean you have a CDP marker on your file?

    Thanks
