thats a bit crap. so do lloyds offer anything guaranteed thru their system?

someone earlier says they got a guaranteed card offer, but wonder if that is old from hbos systems?

Does that mean I not got CPD mark and would it credit search if I apply for second account? Thank for help
I apply for this second account and got a thank you screen and a we will open this within 3 days, if successful page.

I don't know if it mean success or fail? Maybe if it fail then I would get instant no at apply stage? It used to show roll number after I apply, not anymore. No record of application shows online.

This has changed! Today I log in and I press upgrade and show me silver account. On Halifax site it show ultimate reward. But when I click bank accounts link on bos it says I can open a second account call classic but on Halifax says no sorry you can't have secondary account.

Does that mean I not got CPD mark and would it credit search if I apply for second account? Thank for help

To have CPD you must have BOTH "Sorry, you can't upgrade your account" & "Sorry, you can't open another account" messages.

    Not one or the other.

If you do ever get CPD it means that due to a problem with your conduct within the group or due to your credit agreements elsewhere they are not willing to lend you anything, it will not even do a credit search. It's like having a bouncer on the door saying you are not coming in no matter what you do even if you pay me!

Yes they do offer Guaranteed Offers.

For example with Lloyds TSB if you can have a Credit Card it will pop up in your messages just like the Halifax used to also.

For overdrafts, then again you do have a pre-set amount available to you. But, unlike the Halifax you can't just put 9999 in and it will tell you. It's more a case of you tell us how much you wan't and we will tell you a yes or no answer it's the same if you go into branch or use telephone banking.

Hi, I do not have my messages? Where is this usually found?

So will they tell you on telephone banking/in branch of a preapproved limit or not? Does it search credit file each time I ask for increase?

    any help appreciate thank.

You will get the messages just the same as Halifax used to be as soon as you log in inviting you if you are eligible.

Regarding Credit Search you should always presume a yes to this one, although it depends what your internal score is and what level they currently offer you. Your internal score will depend on what level of risk they think you are to the group.

Also, you CAN get CPD if they feel they are happy to keep your exsisting borrowing at it's current level but not offer any further increases.

They should not tell you the limit on the screen but rather say something along the lines of "Tell me in £10 or bigger amounts" and when you get close we will tell you hot or cold :)

Also, CPD is a funny thing - It can come one day and go another.. Some people get offers for Loans etc, but think they will look over it for a few days till it's gone. Then they can come again and go as they please!

Thank you this makes a lot of sence to me now. I think I might have had a cpd then it was removed when I open my 2 saving account last week? Thats all that changed, other than my transfer in on 14th of £2500 which I transfer back to nationwide the next day.
