Is £100 normal for new account bear in mind woman earlier said no to bigger od in my RCA

I didnt ask at time no. It's there though to apply if I wanted but they say no so maybe pointless. I may put £2000 pm in for 3 month then try. Unless all accounts get a £50/£100 then id apply.

Do you know, if I apply for say £2000 (random figure) if I wasn't allowed that much but maybe £200 would it say no, sorry but you can have 200 or will it reject the whole £2000 application?

wgen it was open i went to the add overdraft button , put in 100 and it agreed then i upped it to 500 straight away...

This evening I logged into online banking and was greeted with an invitation to upgrade my current account to the urca. So hopefully I can take this as a definite indication that I don't have this dreaded CPD99 marker on my account. It is also listed as one of "your offers" on the main screen.

I really hope this is right and there is no marker on my account. I was gutted the other night when I couldn't get anything and all the sorry screens were appearing. After all the crap of the last 6 years, it felt like a right kick in the teeth, just as things were turning back around. Hopefully given a bit more positive history in the coming months, I can get a Halifax credit card and ditch the dreaded Vanquis, along with its 49.9 APR.

On new systems? Did it say you could have 500? Do you have another account with od as well with Halifax?

yes i have one on my ura , i put in 500 after it agreed the 100 ,

Simon I had the same. Click on upgrade and you get silver option or with Halifax Urca. but if you click apply now and pick bank accounts you'll then see a second account offer. If Halifax says sorry we can't offer then log in to bos and do the same. I did and got one today. So happy.

No need to mess about applying elsewhere now. I've got what I wanted. Thanks Halifax.

But try that. Right now on hfx online I can upgrade to Urca but no second account offered. Yet in bos online I get both even now after opening a second one lol. Strange but I'm happy because two days ago mine had CPD I think cos same as you.
