Halifax PPI redress Payments

Yip, accepted redress on 30/08/11
redress showed up in my credit card account on 30/09/11

However, I didn't know how much it would be until I seen my CC account online.

Does anybody know what will happen next?

Thanks for the info and advice everyone! Im really hoping tomorrows post will bring something! If not we got the direct line number of person dealing with our case from a really helpful girl on saurday. If no letter tomorrow we'll give her a ring. Theyre def dealing with end of Aug offers from the posts on this thread so fingers crossed!

Am sure I have read when its a CC they put the money in your CC account, then raise a cheque from that CC account and send it to you. Don't know for definite but am sure I have read this a few times on the forum. Well done though :T

Hi,

Just received the expected cheques for the Halifax PPI on loans I complained about between 26/08-02/09. This was fast from the date of the figures letter only received on Saturday just gone, now on the following Monday I have the cheques!!!:T:T:T:T:T:T:T Can't believe how fast they have arrived.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

£8500 in cheques now just another wait for the final 3 CC's figures and cheques (all sent back in the same time scale) and 1 Barclaycard payout (wish they were as fast with their bacs payment-notified of amount at the beginning of September still no money from them!!!):(:(:(:(:(

Well with everyone with similar dates to mine having success at the moment, I chased mine up only to get the below reply:

"Thank you for your email, blah blah.....
Unfortunately I am still unable to provide you with any specific timescales, however we are dealing with this as quickly as possible and will be in contact in due course."

I got the same answer-the letter in response to the email I wrote to the CEO says 30days, that was last week- so chin up probably your turn very soon. Wishing you all the best.
