There are various reminder email sites for remembering appt etc. like memo to me, here, and there is one called remember the milk, here.

I think our garage sends us a reminder for our MOT but I AM good at remembering that (it's due the same time as the tax;):D)

our garage sends reminders for servicing, because we bought from them. And it's much easier to remember when the MOT is due at the same time as the tax: when I've been caught out was the time when we were skint and could only afford to tax for 6 months, so ever after tax and MOT were out of synch!

Car is now MOT'd and on the new MOT document there is a section which says.....

Want a reminder? Text MOT No. to 66848. Cost £1.50. Subscribing confirms acceptance of T&C's. Go to www.direct.gov.uk/motreminders for information.

Think it might be worth the £1.50.

No, not yet. That's just a week today, they have 14 days apparently. I'm swaying between wondering if someone 'up there' has minded me and I may just get off with it...... and thinking it'll still come next week and I'm still going to jail. :rotfl:(That's a nervous laugh btw, not a cocky one. )

Lol, yip, first time. Clean licence for 20 odd years, always had MOT/Road Tax etc before.

Car is OH's so letter would come to him first.
