I so remember being up at 4am on the amazon sight for the heavily reduced lego, oh I was knackered but so worth it and the people on the thread were fantastic keeping everyone going, it was great fun and saved a fortune, the look on the little ones face on xmas day made it well worth it:D

I have a few bits and pieces from January sales in my 'present box'.

Not Xmas, but I bought a little car set for ds for his bday next month. I left the shopping bags in the living room and popped to the loo. By the time I got back, the set was open and being played with :rotfl: he's only three though.

  • Oh My Gosh, some of you are so organised, I have a few bits and pieces which I've picked up in the sales or whilst out shopping.

I have bought quite a bit of material though as I will be making most presents this year.

I've got a lot of work to do rather than shopping :o

i'm gonna be careful & only buy in sales and discounts. mainly coz im selfish and want to spend money on my self in the new year :)

I got lots of christmas decks in january sales and wrapping paper and cards.

I have got a couple of nephews sorted. Some stocking things for my grandaughter and gosh thats it.

I have a neice that is very poorly so Christmas is not top priority this year.

Worse comes to worse everyone will get vouchers.

I've been buying the Tesco's saving scheme vouchers when I go shopping (if I have some pound coins in my purse) and have £39 so far. This will get spent on the food for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. I don't feel so guilty then about buying nice treaty yummy things ;)

I might make a start in the next two weeks as we're going on our long-awaited honeymoon to west coast USA, hopefully might see some suitable things out there that I can bring back.

  • I've almost done. I love Christmas shopping and don't normally start early as I don't feel christmassy, but I am having a baby early December. I live away from most family so I need to be organised by mid November. I must say it has saved me money those and spread the cost a bit mnore although I do budget anyway. Just the 2 sets of parents left to but for now. Oh and my hubby and the baby :)

Don't mention Christmas Cards to OH, we have loads as I always buy some in the sales, and last Xmas OH said that's one thing we didn't need to buy in the sales as we had loads....but I just can't resist the bargains, esp if they're cute and pretty :) And wrapping paper too! OH thinks I have a card fetish lol.

I have quite a few pressies already bought, mainly for our two girls, but not the main presents yet. I won't get those till Novemeber when they do their lists for FC. It's DD2's bday in a couple of weeks, and DD1's at the beginning of November and I've managed to get quite a few things for them on the cheap with sales etc. I love Xmas shopping, even if it's just online and I like to take advantage of the fab bits on Grabbit etc, and hopefully comp wins. A couple of things arrived today from a comp that will go towards DD1's birthday presents. WE don't go OTT with birthday pressies, esp as they're so close to Christmas.

We have loads to buy for: 2 x DD, OH, my Mum, Dad, Brother, Nan, Grandma, Aunty & Uncle (from the DDs) and a family friend. OH's Brother & girlfriend, Nanna, Grandad, Mum & partner, Dad & partner, Uncle, Aunty and Cousin, plus DD's 2 best friends and we have 2 sets of friends with kids we buy for! Oh yes, plus small teacher gifts. That's quite a lot actually, although we try not to spend too much and OH replies on me to bargain hunt :) Some just get a tin of chocs or bottle of wine so not too bad.

Think I'll go have a look on Grabbit now :)
