I aim to have everyone-but-the-kids bought for by October/November. Then buy for the kids and get it all online.
The rule is, if I go into the town in December, its to wallow in the christmas cheer.
I need to sit down and organise everything, I do have most folk already. And my daughter is almost done. The boys get bigger things but there is money set aside.0 -
I find buying online easier than going out into the shops near Christmas. I get barricaded in my wheelchair normally. Imagine what it'll be like near Christmas!
Although, saying that, I do love the Christmas spirit in shops.:o2019 Wins

And all the extra floor displays and stock overflow must be a pain in the butt too? Its hard just getting a pushchair around and its not as wide as a chair.
I too love the Christmas spirit. Best savoured around 4pm I find. Most folk are away home and its a bit quieter. Late night shopping hours too.0 -
I have bought most of the stocking filler for DD and some bigger presents (mostly bought at reduced price) as well as 4 small items for baby (I am due near the end of November) so want all santa present done. I hope to get other peoples present (usually in November but not sure what will happen this year due to baby due then but folk may get vouchers if not able to get to shops - we will see. Wrapping paper and xmas cards were bought in the january sales.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

I've done a bit- bought my sister a trollbead for her bracelet (got this when I worked in a jeweller's for less than half of the normal price); bought my niece a Jamie at home baking set- pat-a-cake baking tin, roller, cookie cutters, recipe, I think it has a pinny too (£9 down from £18 in their summer sale) and two charms for her charm bracelet (again cheaper than rrp from when I worked in the jeweller's). Bought my mum a 100% cotton nightie (free delivery, and 10% off first order) and going to make her an 'emergency hamper'- loose tea, her favourite digestives, the thermal socks she always wears and darns them until they fall off her feet, a pint of skim milk and something that I can't figure out yet. Bought my bro-in-law the two great lies to tell small kids books (about £2.50 delivered second hand for both) and I think that's everyone so far!
Dad wants an Amazon voucher, so that's going to come out of survey points; going to get brother in law a £10 m and s voucher; got OH's niece and nephew but he can pay for theirs! And OH of course...he wants a new computer monitor so that one should be easy, then just stocking fillers for him. Oh and mustn't forget the dog!
Crazy organised this year
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -

my sister also does everything online from now on really for Christmas.
I got my DD's main pressie yesterday, exactly what she has her eye one, and better than half price.
I don't know why I forgot, but its just occurred to me that I usually end up buying for my DD from my brother and my Mum, plus giving ideas of what she'd like to my sister and my best friends, that won't be getting done before November, when DD writes her Santa list.0 -

Yeah.:o This is my first Christmas in a wheelchair so I've never experienced it before but just the thought of it is daunting.:o
I used to love browsing New Look before I was in a wheelchair. Can't do that anymore as the aisles are way too narrow.2019 Wins

I have got a few things. I tend to get things when they are on special offer etc. My brother is hard to buy for but I saw the ideal thing for him. He used to be a fireman and I saw a world encylopedia of fire services and engines so got that. A bargain at £3.:) I make up boxes for the grandsons. Shaving foam etc when they are on offer.0
