I've started not much but building up some little gifts got the SS some Lego and DVDs that were cheap also cos i was in New York I picked up some nice little things for my mum and sister
I also use a scheme through work and get vouchers each month M&S and bonus bond ones which covers all the Xmas food and presents and if any are left for me to enjoy in the Xmas sales
Plus should add I have been since July putting some money away at each pay day for Xmas night outs0 -
I took advantage of the 20% off at Debenhams and bought 2 gifts. Now I intend to try to buy 1 present per week via the sales to enable me to budget better. You live..You learn.:)0

I haven't done yet but I will start soon as I have family who live abroad so I have to be aware of posting dates to ensure things arrive in time. I usually have to get them posted by the middle of November so will start shopping soon.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

I started in the January sales and have presents for everyone apart from my two boys and my husband. I am just starting to think about the food now and will be adding something to my weekly food shop until I have bought what I need. I can't afford to do it any other way.0

Last year and the year before I had everything bought and wrapped by the October half term; the thing I found was that it's very easy to get too much, as you spot another 'perfect' pressie! I've got a bit of Lego for DS in the Boots sale (thanks, Grabbit) but will be keeping a detailed list so as not to go nuts againThey call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0

I've ordered my xmas cards from the local Hospice & i've bought one present so far.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

I've bought my DS's main pressie (a Kinect for his xbox) and his main birthday pressie because it's so near to xmas.
Have been saving since January, so the funds are ready and I'm hoping to finish the majority of my xmas shopping by the end of the month.
Being ready early doesn't always pay off... last year I was burgled and all the xmas pressies (plus just about everything else of value) were taken so I do all my xmas shopping again in the last 2 weeks before xmas. (have since moved and all my shopping will be stored in the loft this year!) Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0
