    I voted Ethan.

Archie's been done to death, people are even starting to name their dogs it here

Rylan and Rogan sound like made up names, I don't like made up names, they age terribly.

The only Connors I know are little gits.

Archie and Connor are way too common! I'm so over the name Archie!
    Rogan and Rylan - awful!

Ethan's nice though - congratulations btw - hope baby arrives safe and well

Archie for me is the best of the choices.

Ethan is the local naughty child name. Connors are 10 a penny and the other two no.

Would watch out how a first name works with the last and any middle names for acronyms. DH is P.A.M. ;)

Ethan is 2nd on the list!

Personally I dont like any, but I couldnt think of a boys name I liked at all while i was pregnant, so luckily it popped out a girl.
  • Not a fan of any of them. Ethan is the best out of the options though, although it's becoming very popular.

I dont like any of them... though Rylan and Rogan are quite hideous.. Connor is incredibly overused and boring.. Archie.. ditto the Connor comment but a little less overused.. and Ethan.. John Wayne!

But you wouldnt like my boys names..

why dont you just wait and see what he looks like? You will possibly find you choose something completely different!

My baby is due soon too and we havent even discussed names at all.. not even briefly!!!

  • As someone involved with 2 different schools Archie, ethan and connor are very very very common and you'd probably end up with 3 in a class LOL

I quite like rylan but im not sure how you pronunce it in your head but Im hearing in mine ryelun is that how you are sounding it? Its different. Rogan id fear would def end up with curry niknames
A previous poster suggested reagan thats a good strong name.

I always wanted to to call my son Eli , Ed or Stanley - he didnt end up with any of them!

I think they are all utterly ghastly.

Ethan. Way too late to use that now. Might have been Ok 15 years ago when there wasn't one on every street corner.
    Connor. More council.
    Archie. twee ee ee.
Rogan & Rylan. !!!!!!! Break out the Burberry.
  • Like the shouting it out in the park idea, another one is to put Doctor or Judge in front of the whole name and see if it sounds dignified - that way your son can grow up to be anything he wants. The other thing to watch out for is initials, so no Mark Antony Duke for example!
TBH I can't really vote for any of those names as I like really traditional boys names so Archie at a push but could he be Doctor Archie ******?
