A note on a couple of the other suggestions here: why 'Reece'?! It's spelt RHYS. And Reagan? Anyone who suggests that (especially for a boy!) clearly hasn't ever read or seen King Lear (although admittedly the evil sister's name is spelt Regan).

i know two Regan's, both boys0 -
I would chose Ethan, but thats probably because my eldest is called Nathan!0

It's so difficult isn't it!! Our wee boy was 3 days old before we finally named him. We had major problems with boys names and really loved Dylan, Declan or Ethan. Declan was my favourite and I love Dylan but just didn't go with our surname.
When our wee man was born though he didn't look like any of the names (especially Ethan )so we were back at square one and out of the blue I said he looked like a Jamie, thinking my DH wouldn't want that but he loved it and it totally suits him.
I wouldn't choose yet, just wait and see what he looks like when he makes an appearance.....all the best!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

Aaaahhh.. Saul ....
I do like the name but is so easily transformed!
I like Fraser/Frazer... makes me think of beans..
Dylan/dillon being the nickname for an idiot in many parts of the country would put me off!
Mason is VERY common here at the moment. All the Connors are chavs and all the Jacks are monsters.. usually endearing monsters
I hate boring ordinary names.. Thomas, James, Michael, Daniel etc.
I still think there is something wrong with people who call their child Kai .. apparently in Thailand it is the word for chicken.. amused me no end!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
If you cannot decide then wait until the baby is born. His name will come to you. or do as some cultures do - ask the grandparents for a name!
an Aussie friend once told me the name Kylie is actually the aborigine word for boomerang! must be true - she keeps coming back!0 -
would love to know how you all are OP and what decision you came to0

Connor is someone who cons, rogan would need Josh as a middle name, Rylan sounds like some kind of 70s synthetic fabric, Archie is an old man's name, short for Archibald in case you'd forgotten.
which leaves Ethan... tempted to remind you tha Ethanol is another name for alcohol.
Do the checks... is it short for something, will it rhyme with body parts, can it be spelled by most people and did you choose the proper spelling, what are the initials going to look like, are there lots of kids in the area with the name already ( there was Cameron Boy and Cameron Girl at my Dd's playgroup) Is it a surname ( think MacKenzie as a first name - wouldn't be my first choice)
