Also, yes you can freeze it, it sometimes goes a bit grainy when defrosted but is fine used for cooking. i often buy a big pot and use half in a curry or whatever then freeze the other half for next time.
Otherwise its lovely with lemon curd stirred in and served with some nice fresh fruit and maybe a meringue nest.0 -
Mix in some honey and top with granola - my favourite! or try mixing in some sugar, vanilla extract and lemon juice and let it sit for an hour. I often serve this as dessert with some broken biscuits on top if I'm feeling generous! Use it in a smoothie. Make another curry and freeze it?
Frozen fruity yoghurt is good and you can use reduced soft fruit from the supermarket.
Chop some cucumber, onion, garlic and mint and make Raita to serve with a curry.
Use it as a marinade for meat/veg by mixing in some herbs and spices - I use readymade Masala spice mix and a bit of dried herbs.

I make these and may use different flavoured extracts, add spices, etc.
They are not the same as normal muffins as you are not using flour, you use oat bran instead.

I make scones with yoghurt. If I'm making a big batch, I cook some until golden, and the others until cooked but pale, then freeze them - they finish off in the oven from frozen very nicely.0

I made a really lovely mushroom dish the other day. Used a big pack of mushrooms, chopped and fried with them with some garlic then took them off the heat and let them cool for a minute (so the yoghurt doesn't curdle) and then stirred it through. I had it with chips and steak but it would go really well with pasta or rice.0

You could always use a little leftover and frozen yogurt to make a new batch in a flask or airing cupboard. It is so easy, especially if you add a couple of tablespoons of skimmed milk powder which thickens it up. It keeps quite a while in the 'fridge once made.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Thank you so much! My very tired brain had no clue what to make for dinner tomorrow. As I have both a big pack of mushrooms and some yoghurt to use up, I will be making your dishFather Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
