I sometimes use natural yoghurt instead of bechamel sauce for lasgne (obviously can make it veggie though I don't). Quick, easy and healthy. I sprinkle some grated cheese on each yoghurt layer and lots more on the top. Uses lots of a big pot, well I do make a big lasagne!

Tbh fruit's a bit expensive for us (I hate bananas which is a shame because they're all that I can seem to get cheap) and value yoghurt plain is a bit sour/naff on its own imo :o

Come to think of it though I may have some blueberries in the bottom of the freezer...

Also, is does anyone know if frozen yoghurt is easy to make??

A spoon of jam through it is nice, honey or golden syrup as well, sweeter than just plain with fruit.

I use it for a dip, about 100g of yogurt, a teaspoon of mint sauce,(I use the cheapest either from lidl or tescos basic range think it is about 40p a jar) mix it together and then chop some cucumber through it.
nice and refreshing with spicy food.

Used to be one of my favorite meals when I lived in Asia. Veggie and very nutritious, though you will probably have to buy chickpea flour (besan). I get it in the 'World Foods' aisle in T*sco.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

It's surprisingly good with some simple flavourings and sweetener (e.g. strawberry or orange) or with a good quality fruity jam. I also add it to low sugar jelly, sometimes stirring in raspberries to make a more interesting dessert. And of course, smoothies are good. If you add a stronger fruit to bananas (such as raspberries or blackberries) you can't taste the banana, but it gives texture and sweetness. It's also nice with muesli, nuts and maple syrup. If you are not keen on the taste, it can be added to custard, mousses etc. for a dessert.

For savoury ideas, try adding cream cheese and herbs, chilli powder or garlic as a dip or dressing. It's also quite useful in lasagne in place of a creamy sauce if grated cheese is added on top. It can be used with other pasta provided a stronger ingredient is added - cheese, fried onion, etc.

This looks nice! Don't worry I have a good stock of besan already cos we go through a lot of it for bhajis, falafel, etc :D I've got all the stuff to make this so yay!

This Hugh FW curry is good - if you haven't got some of the ingredients just leave them out (I leave out the nuts, coriander, cardamon) - and instead of the chard just put in mushrooms, courgettes, whatever you've got...
