Och wow...did you check out that online diet

Today I have discovered itunes with loads of free radio :) (yes I have a mac in a whoopsie paranoid spend)

Tomorrow is my weigh in day...here's hoping..

So far I've lost 3lbs this week (though did eat an awful lot last night)

I'm having a fabulous day...you are right Adrian the meds do eventually work :)

Tomorrow I have to book my ticket for coming back from my Ma's at xmas. Alas with e-cig spends I only have about £50 to my deed poll spend of the new Year...So praying the price has not gone up between now and the 22nd December. Will phone end of the month to make the appt and if I can't get the appt for when I want it I'll phone when I come back off my hols...

Yes I am aiming for a holiday for £100 for the week - all accomodation - all food :)...How groovy is that? I managed 10 days in the summer with Ma and it only cost me £200 all in :)... (food, travel the works)...

So yeah I will keep you posted about the scales tomorrow....

Have you tried fish in foil Adrian - fab cheap low calorie tea? PM me for the recipe and utterly yum. Though I fear the eating disorder is coming back now with like weighing myself so often.

Might do some baking tomorrow and take to the ward. Don't know. Ma is not great today and biting my head off for saying nothing - argh!!! Why does she have to behave like a child sometimes  It's me who has to pick up the pieces that she says I'm being funny - er no :o

  • Thanks outta-the-tunnel i really appreciate all comments that i get with my thread my story is based on my feelings and thoughts and how i am coming through the over side please keep reading it writing on money saving expert it has been a big help for me i simply love this site :)

I do have a big question to ask people and i hope this makes sense its been nearly a month since i joined the forums Do you come to a point when clearing debts that sometimes it is all you think about, I am so focused and have a calculator by my side thinking how i can cut back and ways that i can make money i calculated the other day how far it is from my home to my daughter' s school and back the answer was 1.1 mile i pick my daughter up twice a week from school so that 2.2 mile times that by four or five depending on how many weeks there is in a month hence i have now stopped picking my daughter up from school by car, put pick her up with her scooter. The saving pays for 1 trip to work for me per month.

A couple of other incidents i get so chuffed when a opportunity comes around my dad asked me to go to Tesco for him today due to him been unwell, i was glad to help my father out, in return i get his clubcard points.

I went to the local shop i found a penny on the floor did i pick it up of course i did straight into the sealed pot it will go, The problem i have now i walk with my head down searching for them golden pennies knowing my luck i will walk into a lamppost:)

Today i have found a place that recycles videotapes i have hundreds so after i have wrote this i am going to be having a clearout how i understand the system works is that they give you a credit note so you can buy dvds books etc so i am definately going there and whatever i buy it will go onto amazon/ ebay to sell.

I have also found another way that i am going to earn some extra money my father drinks tin after tin of pop (looking at his belly i think his belly is going to go pop) any way there is a place on my way to work that buys aluminium cans even if it makes me 50p i will be delighted any penny or pound gained is money off my debt.

Later on i am going to join some more survey sites via cash back sites, I really hope that every one is having a good Thursday Talk Later

    Hey Adrian

Blimey, it's all go isn't it and in a really good way. I'm so happy that you've really turned a corner - lots of corners even.

I think with the moneysaving / thriftiness thing, I became slightly obsessive about it for the first few months of our DMP and then it kind of became second nature, if you see what I mean. I suppose I got really busy researching everything and finding lots out and then gradually the practicable and achievable stuff just became adopted in to life. I think it's a good thing, it was a huge learning curve for us.

I'm still finding tips and info all the time on these boards that is helpful. I too pick up pennies whenever I see them and last week found a quid - I was really made up, I've always loved getting something for nothing. I like going out looking for blackberries, mushrooms etc etc etc too.
  • Hey Sickasachip thank you for your lovely comments it certainly has been motivational for me i certainly have changed my ways and i am certainly thinking about things. Today has been really good for me again i have signed up for surveys, today i have been doing surveys, i am starting to dejunk things ready to sell i have sorted my videos prior to them getting recycled tomorrow i have also started to list things on amazon/ebay aswell as spending some time with my daughter and having my tea with her aswell . Today i have managed another non spend day which is only ever achievable with the support of family and friends i am forever grateful to you xx

I haven't really done much today in the form of moneysaving feeling a little out of sorts with my self, but i will be fine, i have the pleasure of my daughter for the weekend so we will definately be having fun. Today what i have been doing is sorting out my toiletries i was so shocked i believe i have enough to last me for the year so i am definately going to use these up before i buy anymore. Tomorrow i am going to visit my best friend he knows what i have been through but he doesnt know i am in debt i am going to share with him what has happened that i am in debt, one thing i have learned is the fantastic support when you share with people your worries and not to bury your head in the sand later on i am going to do some surveys and i am going to think about things i can sell on the carboot sale

    Och brilliant...

My stuff didn't sell on ebay :(...never mind. Charity shop it will go next week (cos this week I've been in bed in the mornings/daytime for half of it and the charity shop only takes stuff beginning of the week)...

So yeah just back from volunteering at another charity shop. First shift in years there and loved it :)..Beginning to think the new AD's are working so onwards and upwards. Like really noticed a positive change sort of Wednesday onwards...

Lost 3.5lbs on Thursday but then didn't stick to the diet that night what with knitting group and a full calorie lemonade and what not but now the anxiety has gone have already reduced the day time meds :D

And am going for a manicure on Wednesday in time for the pdoc.. I'm not looking forward to having teeth pulled the next week (even worse it's just roots) but has to be done. Pray he doesn't slam down on my jaw too hard...
