Of course there is but Also No SEL to demand dtd as far as I can see?? They can argue that you purchased them with NO SEL, Ie no idea what price they would be. Take the giftcard, you know it makes sense!Saving the Pennies

I have just had the worst experience ever in your ***** homeplus store with the deputy manager Chris.
I had brought some bakugan toys at your other store today at £3.97 and they only had certain ones so I went up to this store to buy the rest for my sons xmas's
presents as he was out with the grandparents today along with my daughter.
when I brought some more at this store along with another of his toys of his santa list I realised I didn't have enough cash as for some reason they had gone through at
more money so the till operator split it into 2 one paid with cash the other card.
because of the massive queues I chose to just pay and go to customer services (cs) to sort out.
when I went to cs I said im sure ive been charged wrong so they went and got the label from the shelf which said £3.97 but I had been charged £24.97 they said
something about the double the difference (dtd) policy and because it was such a big amount they would have to speak to the manager.
The lady went off for more than 20 minutes and on returning came with Chris the deputy manager who said I had abused the policy coming in specifically for these and
would not sort anything out for me as it was his choice not to give dtd.(the fact that they was loads left on the shelf didn't matter and I would have taken them all if I was
going to abuse the policy) the other fact that I had also purchased another different item as well.
I asked if he would speak with head office as the dtd was a national policy and shouldn't the till operator have noticed so not to have put them through.
he said they are only customer services and they are lower than me so no I will not
I then pointed out I had brought form the other store today at the correct price which he said i couldn't of as he had rung them and they had taken theirs of sale off friday(
I have a receipt from today to prove I had
I said ok can I have the shelf label so to speak with head office about this and went to take it off him when it ripped the label up in my face when the security staff came
over and removed me from the store telling me I had raised my hands that was why I was removed to which I asked if they view the cctv they would see exactly what
went on. I was told the police were called so I waited
when they came I explained what had happened and chris didn't deny this but then said he was going to offer dtd on 1 of the items but I became abusive which was
never mentioned to me before and the police said the manager was not disagreeing that he tore the label up in my face
the police said it was a civil dispute at which point I left and have now emailled you.
as this happened in full view of the customers and as I work for myself I had noticed one of my customers walking past so I felt very intimidated and worried at what
they thought
I felt like I had been treated like a criminal for buying products that I have been overcharged on then you dtd policy not being honoured.
had it not been for such an amount I feel there would not have been any of this..
I do not expect a store manager or deputy manager to treat and act this way in front of a customer.
just emailed HO with this will let u know the outcome any support or ideas welcome

Got 4, £68 up. Thanks OP.
No hassle with DTD, in fact, the CS chap ran off to find a manager saying he needed to speak to them because it was going to be alot. I just looked dumb and waited.
I was then told it was my lucky day, but had to wait while he rang HO.
He then refunded me in cash, saying "happy payday".0 -

i picked the bakugan battle and won!!! Had most of the aggro as above. couldn't get my DTD. Went home, emailed customer service. Have now got DTD. This is my biggest and that it why it was tough. Of course, they're going to argue. Wouldn't you???grocery challenge 9.86/600
