I must say (Not spitefully) But that email is Terribly typed! Alot of spelling mistakes and such. Re read before sending and Try to give facts to the point. Short and sweet but making sure that you get your point across.
1.You purchased some Bakugan in *** store at 3.00+
    2. They didn't have certain ones from your sons christmas list so you went to a different store, ***
    3. At the second store you purchased them but was OVERCHARGED, at this time the store was busy so you chose to go to customer services rather than hold people up at the till.
    4. You told them of the overcharge and requested DTD as the amount had been debited from your card and it was only right, as Tesco policy states.
    5. The manager refused, making you feel very embarrassed.
6, You requested for him to call HEAD OFFICE and he again refused, tearing the shelf edge label up. Which prompted security to step in.
    7. The police were called, causing terrible embarrassment to you.
    8. you feel this was VERY wrong and you would like your DTD back and the manager reprimanded.

    Less sob story, more fact.

Maybe use what I just typed up as a starter and then add Small facts such as the managers name Etc and store names.
Say that he was very overaggressive when the policy was right there behind him. But don't ramble too much if you know what I mean? :D

Edited to say.. Not so much spelling but more Commars and apostrophes, Paragraphs. I just tend to take extra care when I make complaint Emails as in my crazy little brain I think they tend to Co-operate alot more if the email is well typed. :) x

thanks for your help im just so upset at whats gone on
  • My wife/son spotted this today, no £6.97 SEL in our store, in fact the SEL had them at £24.97, wife checked at CS and they did indeed scam at £24.97, she asked them to investigate as my son really wanted that toy, when we finished the shopping the manager had been called to sort this out. CS said it was probably caused by tesco changing the barcode sticker on the back as they do this sometimes for overseas products so they can charge their prices not the STD ones. Barcode label was a sticky one over the to of the STD label so it seems as though someone somewhere has put the wrong labels over the barcode as the label us for the triple pack

I went to 1 Tesco and labelled at 24.97 went to another and whole arm labelled at 4.97! Bought 2 and then had to argue for my life at customer services for dtd to no avail! Girl who was serving me said I have to get a manager as its such a high amount. Manager came and said Wrong SEL for different product but I fought and spouted all the usual stuff about company policy but they, 3 managers, werent having it and said would refund and resell at 4.97 each?! I said no way and would contact HO tomorrow and asked for name bloke said give her my name to other manager and was real ars*y and I got a full refund! Red faced, made to look a muppet infront of other customers, a 3 year old tantruming squeaming in my hand and lying on the floor all has led to Legendmum being totally peed off and not at all happy! Anyone got Phillip Clarkes email address cos I aint letting this go! Or is it best to ring?

    Just found email address above!

  • Yep when I got my DTD the Cs guy took a thick label off of the Barcode and went BACK to shelf to check that they ALL had a label over the barcode. Probably thought I took my own labels somehow.. CUCKKOOOO hahaha!!
