Thank you for the email, but as I said before, I was in the library when I posted, as I had no BB at home, so could not wait or continually return to the library to see if I had an email from you, on this occasion, due to the circumstances, a quick phone call to clarify things would have really helped.
Edit, now online, so checked the TT forum, I have NO messages, so dont know where the one is you say you sent me.
As it is, over two months later and three missed 'go live' dates, we finally have broadband, so hopefully there will be no more problems, but if I do, I now have the ability to use the TT forum.:T
Hello Lindos, hope things have now resolved now?Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
i joined talktalk, my go live date was 30th dec, no dial tone or broadband for 8 hours, so left it until the next day, still nothing, i rang my landline from my mobile and a woman answered!!!! i rang talk talk, from work, just as well as i was waiting 28mins to speak to someone, but to cut a very very long story short, the problem was resolved. i finally convinced the advisor that my line was not working no matter what their line checks said, and would he please dial my number. shock, horror, sorry miss, a man answered. seems that something had gone wrong on the exchange but it was put right within 2 hours. i was very grateful, to the advisor, who had patiently listened to me ranting.
if the talk talk person is reading this, can something be done about the automated service, its very expensive when one has to call via a mobile.
Hi Charlysez, have you now gone live with talk talk? if not you might get a quicker response from the talktalk forums.Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Yes, now online, did have a problem with voicemail being cancelled, but raised that on the TTforum, and eventually got a response and had it reconnected.
As important point though, once you have made a new thread about your problem on the 'fault forum', you have to leave it be, even if it drops off the main page, as by 'bumping' the thread, it goes to the back of the queue for a response, as it is looked at in date order (the date being measured is the last reply to the thread, not the date the thread was made.
It did take about four weeks from my initial contact by phone for the fault to be dealt with, and I didnt get a particulally fast response from the forum (but we have had Christmas and snow), but at least with the forum you have something 'tangable' on screen, that can be progressed and commented on, rather than phone calls, where you can be mis-lead, fobbed off or even cut off!
Any further issues I may have, I will be using the forum, the response may not be very fast, but at least they do deal with things more personally and get back in touch, and get things sorted.:T0 -

I would like to get in touch with them but am met with the dreaded premium rate scam for customer services. I am fed up with the hassle and think it would be less hassle to switch. Before I do does anyone know of a cheap effective way to get in touch with TT to simply find out how to log on? PS - they seem to have no problems taking the money out of my bank every month!
I'm in the same position. Talktalk have written to say that I owe them £18.24, but I can't log on to my account online to find out why  I've been trying all weekend :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

I want to let everyone know on the moneysavingexpert forum this I dont belive talktalk are an honest company.
I USE to be on the TalkTalk International Evening and Weekend Plan. This allowed me to have broandband, plus free local and national calls during the envening and weekend. I also had free international calls to 39 countries during anytime.
During april 2009 TalkTalk were urging customers free local calls during the day and free 0845/0870 calls during the evenings and weekend AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. sounds a great idea right?
Following a call with TalkTalk they offered me free local calls during the day and free 0845/0870 calls during the evening, I was told there was no addittional charges.
My contract has now expired, I now notice something called a "boost" on my account which means I am now PAYING an addittional £2.00 per month to telephone international calls which were free when I signed up to talktalk.
It seems my package had been changed. I have raise this on the talk talk forum on several occassions, I assuming that constitues a written complaint. I have informed the green tops twice that I am unhappy, but little has been offered. Can a moneysaving member please advised as to what to do next?Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Hi Trinidadone,
Your issue is being dealt with by Mark on the TalkTalk forums. There are also threads on the forum from November (16th to be precise) where you have stated you moved to Essentials and you had agreed to this transfer. If you have any further questions Mark will be able to address these on the TalkTalk forums.
Cheers

I have been with talk talk since early december (ex tiscali customer) and barr a delay in the set up which was as much my fault as theirs (i put address in wrong, yes yes I know) its been fantastic. Not a single issue and when I did query the delay, I went to the customer forums, posted my problem...it was fixed that very same day. Never had anything but politeness from them.:starmod:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1189:starmod:0

I did not agree to talktalk taking away the international part of my phone and broadband package. I also like to add my "issue" as you call it has not been "dealt" with. I also find your remarks once again unhelpful. I will also continue to use this websiteTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0
