Thank you for the information. I do believe I have tried all other avenues. I just feel I am banging my head against a brick wall. My last answer from Mark suggested I get the other account holder to register their details on the forum. This would be my late mother who passed away on 1st Nov 2009. A fact that I have repeated over and over and over to TT.

oh, whats the problem, and I can try to help?

Can someone please help me before I internally combust. I really do not know where to start with my complaint about talktalk. My nightmare began on 13th November 2009 when due to the death of my mother I had to move house. I contacted TT home movers and asked for my service to be transferred to my new number and new address. Simple I would have thought. I have spent hours trying to put this letter into a complaint form as ther is no point in trying to speak to the customer services as one dept does not know what the other is doing nor can they understand you, even if they let you stay on the line long enough to complain - cut off several times after been put on hold for up to 15 minutes. In the interim I have received a bill from TT for £63.13 which they debited from my account on 04/01/10. Now this week I have received another bill for £32.14 which they say they are going to take on 26/01/10. When I rang and tried to speak to Chantel she informed me it was 1 bill for broadband and another bill for telephone line. When I disputed this she wanted to transfer me to the dreaded home mover department. I said no, no more, please cancel my service and guess what she transferred me to some unknown department that had not answered after 15 minutes. I had to hag up. WHAT!!!!! I can't take this anymore, I don't have the time or the sanity to try and get someone who understands how to deal with a complaint. Please can someone direct me to a contact who will listen, understand and act.

Hi Donna H I thought I would relook at your comment/problems. I wanted to ask a few questions, hope that ok.

Firstly did TalkTalk take the £32.14 a few days ago?

there are a few issues I think I have identified,

    1. you have monies coming out of your account which you dont understand

    2. you have enquired about the monies to talktalk, but as the account is with you mother, who sadly has passed away, the company wont talk to you.

    3. you also want talktalk to transfer the line which I assume is in your mother home, to your home?

if i have any of this wrong, let me know?

    some suggestions:

    1. the company is right to say they cannot indulge with you regarding the monies, data protection, blar blar. Best thing for that, I know this may souns crazy but write a letter to talktalk requesting information, inform in the letter you are the next of kin, and supply a copy of the death certificate (sorry if this sounds cold). If talktalk still wont engage, request a full refund, and then contact OFCOM. Put everything in writing, forget the calls on the telephone.

    2. forget the transfer, if you want a service up and running at home set up a new service at your home.

    3. Inform talktalk you would like the line currently alive to be cut off as the owner has passed away ND PRESENT with another copy of the death certificate.

Is any of this any help?

Hi Trinadone, Thanks very much for your comments. I have just read your comment about my ISP provider and am now very worried that I will lose connection once TT correct my phone problems.

When I took out the contract, I specifically mentioned that I want to stay with my current provider and I was not told that I will not be able to receive other ISP providers if I moved to Talk Talk line rental.

I am now going to ask the quesion on the TT Forum and also ask where I stand with cancelling my contract. I feel so let down by them. Although I reported the original problem on 20 January, they could not find the fault till the 26th January and now say it will be a further 10 to 14 working days from the latter date before it can be fixed, or maybe they can fix it earlier. I wish I had never heard of them and stuck with the BT flier that came through the door which started off this change.

Hi Trinadone I have asked the same questions on the Talk Talk Forum, but as yet have not had a reply.

I am able to use 1280 and dial out which is good, but also cannot find out what this will cost, after all I don't wantto be paying 50p per minute or even much more to ring locally or even further away, or I may as well use my mobile. I just cannot understand why, when I reported it on the 20th, the 10 to 14 working days do not start till the 26th. I just hope that my internet will continue otherwise I will be worse off than ever.

I am glad to hear you have reported these problems on the TalkTalk forum. I read a message on the talktalk forum yesterday informing customers there will be delays in answering calls and messages because they have recently ran a hard advertising campaign which has lead to alot of people wanting the talktalk services. They seem to be putting things in place to ensure current challenges are addressed with excisting customers. I am sure this is the last thing you wanted to hear, but rest ashore, the green tops WILL pick up your message. Also, as a added bonus Emma (paid staff rep) also comes on this site.

you wll be up and running before you know it!!! :):):):)

    Hi Lymmbo,

You can have line rental with TalkTalk and a broadband service with another provider. Your services are WLR only and not LLU so no broadband services will be transfered to TalkTalk.

    Cheers
