As per my last message are you registered on the TalkTalk forums and if so what is your user name?
Cheers

Hi Nikaya,
I understand what you are saying perfectly well but without an account number and telephone number (please do not post them here) I can not offer any assistance as I can not view your account or access your line stats. It is for this reason that I have asked several times if you are registered on the TalkTalk forums as then this information will be available to me. There is only so much I can do without looking closer at the line. There will then be no need for you to call 1st or 2nd line support as we will deal with the issue on the forum for you.
Cheers

am etremely angry with talk talk, i am currently in contract with them, and have been trying to switch my service to sky so that i recieve only 1 bill for everything, i was prepared to pay the termination fee if sky could take over my line, however when i tryed to do this was told they could not take over my line as talk talk are unbundled from the exchange and andf my line would need to be bundled back into the3 xchange for my service to transfer to them, however for this to happen i wqouyld need to go back to bt and in doing this i would need to take a minumum contract, or i could go to post office who want to charge me 107 pound for a new line!, however i changed my mind and decided to stay with talktalk, only to find out that there new payments system has caused loads of trouble and they are now missing a payment from my account, 1st time i payed on new system, it decided to take two payments from me!! when i only authorised one! then it decides after me making another payment that it wont accpet my payment onto my account but will still take it from my bank account, so they have money in there bank account that shouldnt be there!! I rang up 2 weeks ago 2 request why it had not applied to my account, they apologised and raised a missing payment claim of which i was told it would only take 5days for them to find my payment and apply it to my account, 5days later irang again to see why it had still not been found and they told me to fax a copy of my statement which i did, 2 days later i rang again and they told me there fax system was down and they needed me 2 fax it again , which i did, i rang again today and they told me they had not recieved the fax again!! so i requested they cancel my line, and they had the nerve to saythat i would be liable to the charge for termination, they then offered to to credit my account so that my service wouldnt be interupted due to none payment, and once the payemnt was found they would remove the credit, 14 days (2 calls a day to talk talk) after the original complaint i am still waiting for that payment to be applyed to my account! i am not going to pay anymore bills untill this is sorted, they ahve my money andthere saying they dont!!!0

I have just spent the last 4 HOURS!!!!!!!! on the phone to TalkTalk. I can not beleive a company can have so many poorly trained operatives employed.
I was told I would have a new line installed on 20.10.09, I waited all day, and no one arrived. I called and called, today I have spoken to everyone possible, and been told so many different things that I gave up taking notes on the problem. I have been told that the line will now go in on the 10.11.09, and then another person told me 12.11.09 and another 16.11.09! I registered on 08.10.09. I only want to make some phone calls, not enter a t.v competition to win a tropical Island. Why does nobody know whats going on. I have given my customer details so many times today I actually bored myself. It seems that my order was not processed correctly at the time, but no one contacted me to advise that, or that the engineer would not arrive. I am so concerned that I dont know which date they will now arrive, or whether I am going to wait another 2-3weeks, and nothing happens again, that I have just written in to cancel. (and thats before the `service` even started) how poor is that! I`m sure there are 1000`s of satisfied customers but what about the ones that are not? surely somebody has to get a grip, what a faceless company. If McDonalds can produce a combination of foods in under 3mins for a fixed price using employees on minimum wage, why cant TalkTalk turn on a phone line and send out a bill? Appalling.0 -

I have been with TalkTalk since May 2006 when wholesale line rental first became available and have been delighted with the service and value - so much so that I have "converted" several dozen friends and business associates.
It is only since TalkTalk published my personal details in the Phone Book without my consent after being ex-directory for many years and I made a FORMAL COMPLAINT that I saw the true nature of the beast!
Only now do I realise how incompetent TalkTalk is and the incredible contempt with which it treats it's customers when confronted with genuine complaints.

Thought I would make a observation, the first posting of this thread started on 9th January 2007 complainting of the customer service from TalkTalk. The message left today dated 28th October 2008 is also complaining about customer service.
Moneysavers on this site have been complaining about poor customer service on this website for almost three years now, and dispite this, it appears customer service is simply not improving on there call centres. would customers ever see an improvement????? would another three years follow???? come on talktalk, please change things for the better, most customers know that sometiimes things go wrong, but when we call customer service, we expect things to be resolved!!!!Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
A wise observation TINIDADONE
In all businesses from the tiniest backstreet one man outfit to the largest international corporation, everything comes from the top. Be it the "Boss", "Governor" or Chief Executive Officer, if the leading figure treats customers with contempt, every single subordinate will do the same.
Michael Hopkins telephoned me from the office of TalkTalk's Chief Executive regarding a formal complaint about the unauthorised removal of my ex-directory status. I was shocked at his indifferent and dismissive attitude..........I mean SERIOUSLY SHOCKED.
If the OFFICE OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF TALKTALK regards its customers with such contempt one should not really be surprised that call centerer personnel are so ineffectual.
TalkTalk has been operating long enough now to establish its modus operandi. There will be no improvement - what we have is all we can expect.

I have noticed that you are quite an activist on this site, TRINIDADONE.
Regarding TalkTalk, what is your particular interest, grievance or complaint?
Also, are you discussing TalkTalk on any other forums or sites?
United we stand.............and all that jazz!
