OP, I am not saying you are being dishonest as there is only you and the seller who know's the truth but in cases like this.. what if a buyer was being dishonest about a high value item they received, swapped it for a cheaper item and sent it back to the seller. Wouldn't paypal find it in the buyers favour and refund the payment since there would be no proof of the original item sent/received?A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

I have never had to send anything back so ive only ever used royal mail but if its more reliable then id rather use what you have mentioned0 -

I understand what you are saying here but the thing is the only proof the seller has that she sent that bag is the weight however when i took the bag to electronic scales in the post office it came to about the same weight minus the packaging of course. So the seller said she had on her reciept 1.3kg inc p+p but i weighed the bag alone and it weighs 1.1kg, do u see where im coming from after ive wrapped it all up im certain itll be around 1.3kg. Thats the thing i wish there was some kind of proof apart from weight as the seller is making me feel really bad by saying she is in financial difficulties but i cant afford to be out of pocket by such a large amount when i have done nothing wrong.0 -

Her being in financial difficulties is not your problem or an excuse to try & steal from someone else.0 -
As far as it goes for me i've done no wrong and if i don't get the 450 back i think ill be depressed lol!
She did try and make me feel guilty and name calling but theres only so much i can do0 -
I had something similar happen to me but in the reverse situation spoke of above, sent high value item & buyer claimed had sent a cheap item & went to the police who immediately sided with her without even looking into it and I was made to pay it back, which I couldn't and it went to debt collection.
I would suggest you involve the police before she does, just to report it so it is on record because if she does it first then you may be out of luck x0 -
Thats the only thing i do have proof of what i recieved as the weights correspond, like i said previously i didnt go to the shops with a scale to find the exact weight of a bag then get this woman to lose out. I think not.0

After reading this i called the police and explained the situation they basically told me its nothing to do with them and to contact trading standards, the reason she said there was no crime involved was because i paid for something and then i received something so the 3rd party company (ebay) should resolve this matter. x0
