A tricky one. Need all you ebay experts help :(

This is a very odd query and i've never had this before but hopefully someone can help me.
A few days ago i saw a bag on ebay which i really like so i kindly asked the buyer whether she would put a buy it now price on the bag which she agreed to do so. The following morning the bag arrived and its a completely different bag to what i originally thought i was purchasing. I contacted the seller immediately via text and explained everything took a picture of the bag and packaging and everything. She was nice at first suggesting it may have got swapped by someone in the sorting office, i then opened a case on ebay as "item not as described", thats when things started to get 'ugly'.
She said the weight of the package she sent was 1.3kg so i went to my local PO and weighed the bag on its own and it was 1.1kg so including all the packaging i believe it will come to around about 1.3kg (ive kept all the packaging). She wasnt happy with my word she then said to take a pic of the bag on the scales which i did today and she says i could have taken contents out the bag to make it weigh as it did. But is she dumb to think that, am i gonna cut half the bag and glue it back together :S! but anyway she wasnt happy with the pictures.
Apparently paypal have advised her now that the bag will be taken by police to have it checked for DNA, shes adamant that her fingerprints wont be on there. But do police even give a S*** about these things? All i want is my money back and she can have the bag.
Its her word against mine, she has not proof of sending the bag apart from the weight and the weight i have recorded is the same minus packaging.

Sorry for making it long but i am so confused (hence why i never buy things off ebay):eek::eek:

You will need to send it back tracked at your expense when ebay tell you to.
Sh'e talking out of her ... if she thinks that the police will give a toss & do DNA testing.
How much was the bag actually on ebay for? I take it it's a designer type? Does it appear to be authentic or fake?

Don't worry and don't converse with her further, do everything via the dispute.

When the time comes ensure you pay and send it back special and NOT recorded.

You will get all of your money back, bar the returns postage, which will be expensive.

So you bought a Chloe bag & received a Miss Sixty bag?
Was she selling a Miss Sixty bag at the same time, I'm just wondering if she got the parcels mixed up, although for that money I would have thought she'd be extra ultra careful.
Continue with the dispute, make sure that you respond to everything. When you are told to return it do so by special delivery.
    You should win the case.

theonlywayisup- i have emailed her the pictures today and said i would like to leave the rest to ebay/paypal to deal with as i know we are just bickering and nothing will be done until the 10 days are over. Shes just so aggressive though thats what pees me off! Yes i will send back special and also take a video whilst i do everything so i have all the evidence cos knowing someone like her she would have a come back.

hermum-Yes i bought a chloe but she didnt have anything else up for sale at the time. She definately hasnt got them mixed up as i have sent her pictures of the bag i received and she's fully adamant that thats not the bag she posted.
I really hope i do as i have done everything i can.
But you wont believe what else she said after i sent in the picture of the bag weighed, she said that i must have done my research and found a bag exactly the same weight so i could scam her, who on this planet goes shopping with a weighing scale :S

You don't need to video yourself!

Just state the facts to the EBay case, escalate it when you can and send it back when they say.

When you post it upload the tracking into the dispute & as soon as it shows either delivered or attempted delivery get on to them & let them know.
I know it isn't funny, but the vision of someone in a shop weighing all the bags to get the right weight is pretty amusing.

I know with Paypal you only have to prove attempted delivery, I'm sure ebay will be the same.
Sellers used to think they were being clever by refusing returns.
