Felt inspired by earlier converstions so walked my old 5K route. The sun was shining and it was lovely, if a bit hot. Ate a healthy tea. Now just got to make sure I don't snack tonight and it will be a good start to this new challenge.
Thank you everyone:)Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0 -
Evening ladies, hope you're all doing well.
Le Fiance has just told me he's taking me back to Prague for my birthday in March. So that's an extra incentive to lose the weight. I promised myself that the next time we went (before the wedding) I would be a lot lighter! We have a few pics from our engagement trip and I look massive. So if I keep up with the 7lb a month, I will be at my goal in February! Fingers crossed you can all keep me on the straight and narrowEmergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Evening all. Can I join the gang. Was 23-2 (which I think is 324lb) yesterday and already have plummeted to 23-1 (323) by today. The other 6lb should shift even quicker now I've pressed the subscribe button on this thread.
Vices: clearing the kids plates, Mrs B's homemade cookies / lasagnes, red wine, pizza, obssessive and overfrequent weigher-in.
Virtues: endeavour to run 3k every morning, keeping up with 2 young 'uns means I'm rarely sedentary, need to set good examples to them - don't want them being the kids known for their fat dad.
Vice/Virtue: my height. being 6ft 4 means most people genuinely don't consider me lardy. But this also means its easier to slack off.
Looking forward to reading all this thread and wish everyone the best of luck on our poundshedding missions.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

well i weighed in on wednesday as promised. If i say 200lb i'm sure you can all imagine that it's my starting weight rather than how much i actually want to lose
. Think i'll take the short walk to the library today just to get moving. It's a start if nothing else.
