  • I forgot to to post my start weight, been to busy. I didn't weigh on the first, I weighed myself on the second. So could you put the start weight as 9st 3 please Dragon? or whatever that is in pounds lol. I feel I've been doing good this week so far, lots of healthy eating and exercise. I'll post my new weight on the 8th then.

I know I missed the start of the month, but please can I join?
    I currently weigh 9st 10lbs (ish.

Me too! Can I join too please? :)

I started the Dukan diet last week but after 2 days I couldn't face any more meat and gave up so now I'm trying to just eat sensibly and healthily and stay away from the huge portions which I think are my downfall! Have been doing quite well, apart from, the large plateful of roast pork and trimmings I scoffed last night!

I'm just eating my brekfast now, which is a bowl of bran flakes, I'm thinking if I get peckish in the afternoon I'll have a banana and that should keep my going till supper - not sure what that will be yet

Yes but you have to admit, it does sound very yummy!

(especially if you have been eating salad, salad, and even more salad like me, with the odd bit of chicken!)

  • well done everyone that has lost this week.

I like some others have stayed the same but for once I am not too disheartened because I think i still had one foot trailing - not quite back on the diet wagon!!!!
Anyway I am off tomorrow for my hospital holiday(!!!!) so will be trying to be very good until I get home again next monday - unfortunately there will be no exercise so i will really have to cut down the cals to compensate - if i stay the same i will be happy.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Scale shows 148lb but I don't fell I'm any thiner and blouse I bought while ago barely fits me :( Do you have any tips to keep yourself motivated?
  • Hiya, have decided to go by my scales since at least my weigh ins will be consistent since I'm moving. So finally my sw is 11st 6ish (can't tell quite for certain since they are old fashioned ones and would need binoculars to see what it says exactly!) so 160lbs - EEK! So hope to get down to the 11st mark by the end of the month, any more than that and I REALLY would be over the moon! :j

The only thing I can say is to stick with it, sometimes the scales move, others the tape measure (and it good weeks both :D), you have lost 2 pounds - keep at it and your clothes will fit better and you will feel better!

Had the tape measure out this morning, for my monthly measure in, since starting I have lost 3 off the top, 4 off the middle, and 5 1/2 off the butt (inches), so while my weight loss has slowed down, it seems I am firming up!! so pleased with that.

Was going to do 2 miles on machine this morning, but decided to wash my hair instead!, so I'll get home at lunch time and do the 2 miles then!!
