  • Lost a pound and a half, no idea how but i'm not complaining!! :rotfl:
  • My weigh in day too. I have lost 1 3/4lb obviously the three quarters of a pound is very important;). I have to say I am actually a bit disappointed. It is years since I have been this careful what I eat. I also walked to work twice this week by carefully planning book carrying etc. I wanted to get a few calories "in the bank" so to speak. Tomorrow is my birthday and a take away will be the order of the evening. I was going to be extra good all day to compensate but now my elderly parents have asked if they can take me out to dinner as well and I couldn't say no. ho hum:o

To the posters enquiring about the couch to 5K there is a very good support group on this forum doing this programme. They were a great support when I was doing it.
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D

    wi day i've lost 2lbs :)

well done on the other losses
  • Still no weight loss here dispite being very good. Been a bit naughty today and had 2 wagonwheels

A little tip when making burgers - instead of breadcrumbs use oatbran - much healthier and it saves making breadcrumbs. I brought a load of oatbran when I tried the dukan diet but apart from the dukan galettes all the recipies I found were for cakes or muffins so I'm going to try and sneak them into meals to use them up :)

  • Joined the uni gym today. It looks amazing, I'm so excited. I got the gym and swim package. Although I am feeling a little intimidated by all the regular gym-goers. I'm by no means unfit, I have an exercise bike and weights at home but I feel like thay can tell I'm not sure what I'm doing. Same with swimming, I haven't been in nearly 7 years!! I'm going to go really early in the morning so no one sees me lol. I'm thinking gym on Saturday and swimming on Monday morning. Working Sunday unfortunately so maybe I'll do a bit of exercise before work at home.
Hope you all had a good day :)
  • I'm off to Disneyland Paris tomorrow :j so will be doing LOTS of walking! Get back Monday night and then start boot camp on Wednesday so i'm expecting some BIG results this month!!:D

Done quite a bit of walking today which isn't too unusual for me but I've eaten a lot less so hopefully things should start improving :D

i am struggling to the point im havent been even weighing myself as i know its not what i want to hear but i did this morning and im 11st 8 so put 3lbs on over a few weeks which isnt surprising
i need to really get back on track, hoping to be going on holiday in 4 weeks so want to shift a bit more
started zumba on tues night and my legs are still killing me but i know i need to do some form of exercise tonight to keep up the momentum and give me the motivation
think im gonna be really really strict over the weekend then look at a 1000 calorie diet for a week just to give me a quick start

Are you taking this as your starting weight Poppy? or do you want the 3 pound gain to go down :(
