it was raining and the disabled bays were empty but the normal bays outside the shop were full so i did what a lot of people would do
Never done it. Stupid selfish behaviour.

More importantly if you have a UKCPS new PCN now, they are banned from getting DVLA data so do not appeal and no letters can be sent (at the time of writing this at the end of 2016).

UKCPS do like disabled bay abuser's, as they work with Disabled motoring UK to "protect" disabled bays so expect a wee bit of paperwork to pop through the door! Still cant work out how lining UKCPS's pockets is helping free up disabled bays, but I suppose Disabled motoring UK are happy with their cut!0

You would like disabled bay abusers too if you saw cash registers every time you looked at one! Nothing more sick-making than PPCs masquerading as heroes, really, but I just hate hypocrisy.
That's why I won't condemn someone for doing what I would do myself- why walk across a rainy car park if there are a dozen empty spaces near the door? Disabled people don't seem to come out much after dark, which is when I do most of my shopping...0 -
We are now in March and I'm pleased to say threating summons have stopped for now anyway. Does anyone know if there is a time limit on when they can stop trying to get money out of you ? Thanks for everyones help as without them we would have paid ! Thanks again !0

They want 'you' to cave in, they want to scare 'you' and then once they have 'your' money, they are laughing all the way to the bank with it, knowing they have suckered yet another person out of their hard-earned cash!
If 'you' have not contacted them then the threat-o-grams will stop arriving soon and they will give in and move on to other targets. If they smell blood (or actually cash!) they will keep on for as long as possible.
Did you get any replies from the the retailers on the site to your letters? What you should do, is save up the threat-o-grams and post photo-copies (with all personal details removed) to all the shop managers on the site and direct them to this website.0 -

You decide !
This is a sweater scam, all designed to make you sweat, the more seriously you take it, the more likely they are to get your money.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
My mum has been in touch saying she has received a £60 fine for 'being outside a designated' parking bay, or words to that effect. Also by UKCPS.
Do I gather from other posts that she should just ignore this altogether?
Outside the space? What a load of bull!
Any advice appreciated.

My wife took an 87yr old lady to Speke retail park to do some shopping. The UK CPS operative, watched my wife unload the this lady, complete with zimmer frame, he watched her put the elderly ladies blue passes in the window of the car.
According to a chap who witnessed this, as soon as they went into the shop, the CPS man was writing out a ticket, as she has mistakenly placed the badge bit photo side up. The witness was so disgusted that he stayed by the car for over half an hour to relay to her what had happened.
The lady was obviously disabled, had a blue parking ticket, which my wife thought had to be photo side up, theiroperative could have said to her it needs to be the other way round, but instead could not wait to write out a ticket.
I was just about to write them a letter, but after coming across this forum, I will just sit tight.:mad:0 -
Better yet- sue them. B*stards. But what do you expect from this thoroughly disreputable shower. According to their manager they are there to protect the disabled. Yeah, right.0
