I think many people will be a 'possible' match. Am sure you will have to go for a medical first (hopefully locally). I am sure it will be soon, due to the urgency of the requirement.

Hi I recently looked into a story about a South Asian boy who was 6 who needs a donor because he has a rare genetic disorder. Just to highlight there is a shortage of Asians on the list who are the only ones who have a potential of being a match (as with any Asian person needing a donor). So if you are Asian (18-30) or know anyone who might be willing to donate be good to spread the world, because I don't think people are aware.

The chance of finding a match in these circumstances is a lot lower.
