Well done Mrs B! I was given 3 of your special pens today and thought of you when they were handed out! Do you want me to send them to you? One for use and two for special occasions lol

I didn't like to say anything BUT I found 2 of these pens, brand new and in a Mr T carrier bag in my house. No one in the family claimed them as theirs so they are now mine:j
Maybe there is a magic pen genie distrubuting them as necessary....:A

Oops. Day 4 of not running. I will have absolutely no excuses tomorrow. Today's excuse is I have a loathsome day of keynote speeches, vision statements, teambuilding and gladhanding to endure. Am hoping I can just slouch in the corner and watch the nyan cat on my phone all day but this would probably lead to more trouble at work so will attempt to look spirited and engaged at all times. Not sure whether to take the pen (which appeared in my daughter's room) as a good luck charm. Weight plateau continues - 22-07 which considering I was well stuffed yesterday is pretty good going. Managed to list another 1 record last night before giving up with stress disorder.

Good luck from me too. I have a lovely image of a "looking spirited" face in my mind's eye!

Stop looking at nyan :rotfl: though Nyan is the name of a humanoid alien in Season 3 of Stargate SG1 :rotfl:

Congratulations to MrsB! Less stress is very, very precious.

As for the Matrix zooming away on the view count - MG, the OP (original poster) has just become debt free and on the same day one of her cats had to be put down - so a lot of people were in and out all the time, including me. Don't worry about it being your pen! Your pen is a magnet, attracting posters from all over the world :D

  • I just found this board and am about 150 posts into reading Mr. Bloat's diary. I love it!

It's just what I need to kickstart me into my own plan. Can't wait to get on the scales and actually START.

And to tally up what I need to do financially.

While not in massive debt, I know I'm spending more than I'm making now that the two of us have retired. That kind of math doesn't work for long before it gets to be a serious issue.

So -- Hi. Best of luck on your weight loss and debt loss programs. You've been an inspiration to this girl.

Lots of places where I can be frugal, if I only think about it more.

    :j:j:jWell done Mrs B! :j:j:j

:TYay! :T to pen reapearing (and apparently breeding while away?)

Well worth a celebration, as is the fact that your normal weight is now a good bit down on where it was. Once you get back on the wagon it will move on again but every day you don't go up is actually a good sign.

Made up for lack of recent running by marching home from corporate snoutfest for 40 minutes in a suit. Have also developed nagging feeling that I have been getting away with murder / flying by the seat of my pants for the last decade and people in equivalent positions to me seem to have been working a lot lot harder - feel like a dinosaur at the moment. But that is not necessarily a bad thing.

Hmm. Well, t. rex is a dinosaur and *ate* a lot of the other stuff - so no, no bad thing.

I think once you have your light bulb turn on firmly, you start to realise all sorts of other stuff too ... sounds like you're in that. Anyway, have a great weekend, MrB, especially since you've just had the great news about MrsB's promotion, **and** you're free and clear to start running again :D:D:D
