Listed 4 records at 4.00am in lieu of my run - am not even weighing myself today - this is a weekend off to concentrate on earning money. Bids up to £72 and there are some records that look like they might go a bit mental come closing time - 3 of them have got over 15 watchers on them. I must admit it is getting a bit addictive - was even checking the progress on the ebay app at the party last night - being north of the river actually focused my mind a bit more cos I was well out of my comfort zone - I have 2 decisions to make with the writing and they are completely seperate - the first is what I do with the past stuff because I have always had a nagging doubt that it had not been done justice and I can remedy that by reissuing on kindle, and then the second decision is about how to move forward with any new writing - of which there is naff all yet, so once I get ebay and kindle outta the way, then I'll see if there's any gas left in the tank to do some new stuff.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Hope Canary Wharf shindig was good! Even if you were out of your comfort zone ...
You can only concentrate on so many things at once, yes .... I'm glad you've caught the ebay bug! I missed last weekend's free posting (oh the shame!) but at least I managed to get stuff onto amazon, and 4 have now sold.
Thanks for making it clear that the writing will always be a sideline - but, in that case, I'm not sure how it could ever get you more time with the family, unless its by paying off the debt quicker.
The downward figures on the debt (and the weight) are great! Just checking you remembered about snowballing ....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

eBay has delivered a thoroughly uninspiring and drab angle to today - was glued to the screen expecting last minute shenanigans and what do I get? sweet fa. On the plus side I have 95 quid for 10 records I don't need. On the minus side is those records have been sold/offered for a total of £416 previously. And I now have to fiddle around with packaging.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Small steps still get you to where you want to be but may take you a little longer. Chin up.0

Try to end your eBay listings in the evening, (about 8.30pm-9pm) as long as it doesn't clash with anything like Downton, X Factor, EastEnders or the like. Seriously unless you are after foreign buyers anything ending during the day unless it is a buy it now, is seriously limiting the buyers you attract.
Use either Turbolister, or schedule them for an evening slot. If you schedule for say 10pm, this will cost 6p, but if before they are due to go live, go and amend them send them to live auction immediately, you don't need to pay the 6p - if that makes sense.0 -
Sorry about this, MrB - but yes, daytime endings at the weekend won't get as much as evening endings, on average. It literally is a lottery, sort of thing.
