Re: the early morning runs Mr B, I think you should sport a hi-vis vest jacket, especially now it's getting darker - and it would complete "the look"!.
....or would that give Courier Man too bright a target?0 -
Am now using MSE as a way of work avoidance. That's not what I meant this to be. Thanks for all the advice about ebay but I'm gonna have to go with Plan A which is listing 100 to be finished on the Sunday night before my week off, and then another 100 to be finished on the Sunday night before the Christmas hols, and then blah blah blah, cos I can't face the concept of every other day having to label and package and ship, musicmagpie sent me nearly mental and that was simple stuff. Want to keep the start price at 99p cos then someone might get a bargain - obviously I'd love each record to get me £100 but I am not a greedy man, and part of me would like to think that some fan might get the vinyl they have been craving for a bargain price - hold on I'm starting to sound like a communist. Right, that's enough procrastination, all work and no wine obviously makes Mr Bloater a leftie.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Bloaters had a NSD and its Beans On Toast for dinner. The minute the kids go to bed I'll be into the boot of the car retrieving the 126 files I need to sort out ready for the executioner on Friday...
How did you start running? Did you do a C25K type thing or did you just go for it?Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

Oops. At the 3k mark - where the Doves kick in with "Kingdom of Rust" - a song I used to love and now despise thanks to running - I was joined by an unwelcome friend - a big old twinge from my knee. Stopped running immediately and maintained progress at a brisk walk straight home. Might have been a one-off, might have been psychosomatic, might have been cos I've changed my pill time - until yesterday I was talking my cod liver oil and Glucosamine Sulphate in the evening last thing before bed, but then decided it would make more sense to have them in the morning - hence my body's gone for nearly 24 without them, or it might just be my knee giving out after all the running and weight loss recently. Will have a rest day tomorrow and reset my supplements to the old established time and hope hope hope against hope that come Thursday morning I can do a 4k trot as usual. On the upside, weight plummeted to an insane 22-02 and BMI at a quite perky 37.75.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
