Have you considered a kettlebells class? I did one the other day, 20 minutes of sweating and good aching.

Nice one on the weight loss, and the dry days as wel. think of all the money you save by not drinking everyday, AND lose weight too. Result.

Dear Mr B,
I’ve just seen your debt stats and that’s a lot of unsecured debt to be carrying. I’ve had similar problems in the past and can really relate to your predicament, believe me you have my every sympathy. You seem to be getting on top of things, which is great. It’s scary to see just how many people there are with huge debts but in a funny way it’s kind of comforting to learn that you’re not a freak and that there are so many people who’ve made similar mistakes to you.
I’m new to this site and really wish I’d known about this debt forum when I was going through hell with my own debts. After years of misery and coming seriously close to declaring myself bankrupt, I finally paid all mine off, only to learn recently that my sister is in an even worse position than I was. I’ve just read a fascinating book on the subject (Bankruptcy Diaries) about a regular guy who ruined his life with debt and then seized it back through bankruptcy. I’ve passed it on to my sister and there is a part of me that secretly hopes she draws inspiration from this guy and doesn’t bother with the hard years of repayment I’ve endured.
The last point I’d like to make is that whatever you do, DO NOT take debt advice from companies who charge for the service. There are enough free advice sites and charities that are not seeking to profit from your situation.
Good luck Mr B & all the other debtors.

Hi MrB. How's the Wii going for you? What things do you do on it?. I used Wii Fit every day when I first got it, but when I set a weight loss target I found it demotivating to use every day as it didn't seem I was making much progress. Keep going MrB :-)**Debt Free as of 15:55 on Friday 23rd March 2012**And I am staying that way

Us Bloaters thought we'd add an OS twist to what was supposed to be a blowout night - we've just scoffed our homemade English muffin pizzas and later, once the little Bloaters have watched Glee and then gone to bed, Mrs B will be washing it down with bitter shandy - the Schweppes was 2 for 1 at Co-Op and utilising this with the feared John Smiths skulking in the corner of the fridge. And I will be indulging in some halfprice Lindemans. Even on our nights off, moneysaving is seared into our psyche now. Hope all (except any Leeds fans) have a great evening tonight.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

İ've just 'caught' this thread and must say what a good read it is-well done on your endeavours Mr B!-
-i have never considered my mortgage as a debt because i always think i have to pay in some way for the home i reside in-plus the equity could clear the other debts if i had to resort to drastic measures--the bank is giving me a home and security with the mortgage!
May you stride to clear your excess debt--and lose your weight! i have no debt problems but i yo yo with my weight--i am disciplined with money but cant control regaining lost weight--their must be some psychological disconnection that i need to attend to!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
