OK, so this is where the drift usually begins. Sat down this morning at stupid o'clock to write something and realised I had nothing of any value (whether it be comedic or MSEic) to add to my diary. So in former incarnations Mr B would have just retired quietly back into the shadows. But if I want things better then they can't happen as usual - so I shall still plug on with this.

    Non-events to report
    - Lost another 4 packets of lard
    - Still can't fit into suit for the christening (not mine) this weekend
    - No longer have to get DD an iPod Touch as found out yesterday that my old smartphone works perfectly well as a games machine / camera / mp3 player and web browser without the SIM card in it.

And today the lard is going to come back. And bring some of its friends too. Mrs B helpfully baked a whole bunch of chocolate chip cookies and left them out to cool down. And then went out with little boy Bloater. Leaving me and DD here feeling a bit peckish. Grrr.

Or at least drink a glass of water between each one. :)

P.S. Lard loss is amazing, and in my experience it will try to sneak back on but over time it loses its memory and if kept off is less likely to come back.

Need all my powers of resistance again - Mrs B is having some (very well-earned) wine and crisps tonight in a rare evening where the mewing Bloater children are hushed. Can I resist temptation - especially as the cookie splurge (all three of them) didn't actually tip me over the calorie limit at all - am on a virtuous 2015 today so far.
