301k in debt and morbidly obese - things aren't great!

You just have to believe there really is less in that shed than there was this morning... must be, 'cos you took it out. And maybe the temporary jumble will earn its keep by preventing too much more getting in.
My DD's another who gave up ballet at the age of about 6, but in her case she went into gymnastics a few years later which kept her supple - and she started in again at the deep end with ballet (Grade 6 or 7 I think) when she was 15. Very hard work but she loved it and only gave it up when she couldn't fit in the classes any more.Miggy

Stormy times inside and out at Bloater Towers - and if the gusts in this built up part of London are making things wobble then I sincerely hope those of you on more remote plains have got every hatch battened down.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Hatches well and truly battened Mr B and all... it's looking evil enough up here (North Yorks) but I think you have it worse than we do.
Stay safe - and don't let the storms in, remember that thing about 'How important will this be in six months' time?'Miggy

Yep, I think its worse down here in the south over the last 12 - 15 hours, but its not too bad round me, and its died away at the mo. Hope everyone is safe tho.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I used to say 'will it matter in 6 months time?'. Found myself saying 'yes it will, I'll still be bloody furious with him' so thought it best to replace 6 months with 5 years :rotfl:.
Storm passed here, hope all are ok & in the same places you started off in :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

One positive benefit of being basically broke until payday is that the carnage inflicted by our glass recycling bin shedding its contents all over the driveway last night were dramatically lessened cos there were hardly any bottles in there. Had it been a few weeks back there would have been plenty of empty red bottles shattering or rolling ominously around the close. As it was, I only had to pick up two and neither had smashed. Three more days of work and then the fun can really begin, aside from getting the finances in order, and the running back on track, I have a load of web-based ideas that I need to implement - the smiles are coming back, plus I have to move fast and capitalise on the massive post-Christmas Kindle market seeing as the world and his wife (excluding my world and my wife) seem to be getting one this year - I need to be getting something out there in the marketplace very soon.
And, on another positive, any long term reader will know my love/hate with eBay, and I'm sure I've probably put a few people off, well let me just say that Brazil appears to be the answer. I am getting a few buyers from there just now, my initial suspicions about posting internationally have been completely unfounded, I have changed all the settings on my restrictions for bidders so as to include International buyers but stop anyone with 2 or more unpaid cases against them, or non-Paypal account holders.
I think the clouds are lifting - both meterologically and metaphorically.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Now this is worrying. Went out this morning early to put some gas in the car and whilst driving along my old route, saw not just one, but two men of a large composition running like they didn't want to dressed in unsuitable running attire. It's like having a couple of doppelgangers. Must get back out there on Saturday and reclaim the streets - there's only one Mr Bloater.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
