Well today's been a marathon - up since stupid o'clock getting the house ready for partygirl's gathering- vaxed the lounge carpet to within an inch of its life and we made everything look pretty pristine, 8 girls, 2 godparents, 5 mums, 2 cake ladies (it was a cupcake making party) and only one minor burst of tears from DD and it was done, to be swiftly followed by Shed Tetris in the extreme - retrieving cross-trainer - dragging it through the garden and kicking down the baby gates from the hallway as myself and Mrs B strained ourselves getting the thing upstairs, with an old dressing table going the other way and in fitting it in the shed I have quite literally filled every gap in there. Am seriously considering buying an old van I can park on the driveway that I can use as a shed. The !!!!!!-blighted laptop my mate didn't want anymore was brought over today- I was hoping to give it to my Dad for Christmas (once it had been cleaned up - probably) has another issue - namely 4 missing keys. Not sure if even keeping the !!!!!! on there would distract his attention from that. Ebook sales on Kindle are as lousy as Ebay - sod all from the UK but my first sale on amazon.com - woohoo!, and as for this 7 day finishing in the evening stuff for my records, well there is exactly 24 hours left now, 0 bids on any of the 20 listings, and only 6 watchers on the most valuable things. The words damp and squib come to mind and I shall return to my odd finishing times in future, at least it got some bidders. Sad to see the Matrix madams overtake me in the page views race again but then I suppose there is about 7000 of them and only one of me. Running will happen tomorrow, but maybe at 7am rather than 4. See, that's how pro-establishment I am getting now.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

You Rang????????????
We are just having a daft day in Matrix Land - making lip balms, cooking mince, building stud walls, eating doughnuts, choosing clothes for business trips, packing up flats and being totally fabulous f course.
They are busy, busy ladies

Had a merry evening polishing off the stray Becks in the fridge and fixing up the broke laptop that is now merrily working again !!!!!!-free and decluttered. If it weren't for the dodgy wireless connection I'd have installed it as the main Bloater computer and given our giant elderly tower to my Dad. Running's not going to happen, it's soggy outside and I moved a cross-trainer upstairs, I'm in enough muscular pain without slipping on a leaf and going back to square one again. Plus I'll no doubt get a great workout banging my head against the wall in frustration at the world's most pointless week of listing on eBay - what I thought would bring me in another 150quid is on track with 12 hours to go to bring in nothing. But on the positive side, another UK sale of my one of ebooks - am up to a massive 29 sales in total now. It's exciting stuff this moneysaving....2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Morning B, now don't get despondent, it is 'a marathon not a sprint':D and you are making all the right changes.
This is why people budget, they can then factor in fun money, beer money, pony club, dog racing, whatever takes their fancy and still reduce the debt.
The speed and ferocity of the debt reduction is the personal challange bit. For me having a family makes it slower but it's also given me time to think and maybe be a bit thankful that actually it's good not being able to afford mobiles for small children and actually have time to be with them instead of them being in their rooms glued unblinking to a screen or six.
Did you ever post a SOA? That would get your veiwing figures up as we all jump in to comment - come on, dare you!!Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Ebay: £0.000 -
Sweetie, its long term, this moneysaving biz! So are fitness and weight loss! Look at your totals - they didn't happen overnight, or in a few weeks or months - it took ***ages*** for them to grow to that extent. With the knowledge you have now, they'll go down quicker than they went up, but its still going to take a while.
The party sounds lovely, by the way! Did you enjoy any cupcakes2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Never in my adult (or indeed child) life have I ever before voluntarily stayed in on a Sunday morning to prepare something that had to be done for Monday morning. It's always been a Sunday night or get up first thing on Monday kind of mentality for me. But some nerdiness possessed me today and whilst Mrs B and the kids have gone to Bluewater, I have stayed here and done some stuff that needed doing. It's a very odd feeling to have done what I needed to, I have spent a lifetime of having some nagging feeling in the back of my mind throughout the Sunday, and today it's gone. This is all like the complete opposite of a mid-life crisis, more of a mid-life stability. Very odd.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
