Aw Mr B - you owe me a 1/2 mile swim as I dragged myself out of bed thinking you would already have been pounding the streets :o
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Never in my adult (or indeed child) life have I ever before voluntarily stayed in on a Sunday morning to prepare something that had to be done for Monday morning. It's always been a Sunday night or get up first thing on Monday kind of mentality for me. But some nerdiness possessed me today and whilst Mrs B and the kids have gone to Bluewater, I have stayed here and done some stuff that needed doing. It's a very odd feeling to have done what I needed to, I have spent a lifetime of having some nagging feeling in the back of my mind throughout the Sunday, and today it's gone. This is all like the complete opposite of a mid-life crisis, more of a mid-life stability. Very odd.

As someone experienced in mid-life crises I can attest to the fact that these can take different forms. Mine usually lack imagination - hence running, instead of a Harley and a toy-boy.

Who knows, yours may involve increased levels of nerdiness.

Hi, if it's any help, things were fairly quiet around one nationally advertised record fair this weekend.

  • Don't be disheartened with eBay - I think many are on limited funds at present and are channeling any spare cash into Christmas shopping now. Maybe try again around January payday?

Woo-hoo! Now have a excuse for not running, not posting (either on here or to the three unlucky people who bought my records at knockdown prices), not checking my paltry kindle sales or even weighing myself - as my old mates from Ofsted are in on Wednesday and so from now til Thursday night is going to be a caffeine and McDonalds fuelled time of collective psychosis at work. Can't wait! But I shall return, fatter but way more chilled out on Friday and then I'm really getting this show back on the road. Laters.
  • Enjoy Mr B !!

The break will do you good and you will return with enthusiasm I'm sure.
