    Thanks Buffy.

Strange world when you listen to the likes of Shelter etc. Yes there are some dodgy LLs out there but I'd counter there's a whole lot more TTs (Terrible Tenants).

If I mess up the Council, CAB, Shelter, MPs etc will hang me out to dry very publicly. If the TTs defraud me, they're sat down with a nice cup of cocoa and Mrs Social Worker will listen to all their felonious little fantasies and somehow come to the conclusion that it's all my fault anyhoo.

Some are lovely I must say...but they truly are the exceptions in my experience.

    Taxi,

We've a culture of "I can do what the hell I want and sod the rest of you".

I have lots of tenants who pay the deposit via the Council. When they leave the flat in a mess (which is the usual) the Council pay. They are never chased for the money or made to repay us, the Council Tax payers. What does it teach them? It teaches them they can do what the hell they want and there will be no consequences.

As for the-blip-of-what-we-do-not-speak...lets not speak of it :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hope you're feeling ok.

Well I was sniffing around the internet last night and found an interesting bloke. 6'4" debt collector...I almost proposed.

Scary thing is they wear stab vests because they get threatened so often. But he did give me the number of the locksmith they use :D

Been thinking a lot today about what I could do next year to make it even better.

I've been really blessed this year with one thing and another. I've got most of my health back and want to try and get fitter. So SB and I started bandying numbers about. Most impressive was if we did out 10,000 steps a day that added up to 3,650,000 over a year. Or to allow for rounding and a bit of extra lard removal what about 5,000,000 steps in 2013.

I'm going to start a new diary for 2013 and make this my challenge fitness wise. Husky and SB will get dragged in regardless.

Also need to find £20,000 for SB's first uni year (be it 2013 or 14). That's going to be a big ask but I'm going for that too.

So two big numbers and a lot of work but should keep me out of trouble.

Lots of free pedometer apps and I've a clippy on one somewhere too.

Need to make up spreadsheet and other nerdy things. All good.

Anyone who like to join me is very welcome...can't beat a good spreadsheet.
