Hello all. Thank you so much for all the loving thoughts and good vibes.
I didn't realise it had been so long since I'd been on but Mrs Moo did pass on all your good wishes and a swift botty kicking.
Quick update follows:
Job is good. I got promoted somehow and have a fabby team of people to work with. I still get sick most days but I have to say the Bank in question has been amazing and very supportive of me working from home when I have to. Given I'm contract and not permie that doubly cool and I am very grateful.
Small Boy is now at college doing an HNC in Social Sciences. He loves it. He's been looking for a part time job but no luck so far. However he's helping out in a charity shops 2 days a week and loving it. Its building his confidence and his CV so win win there.
Grandad is as mad as ever. He seems to have bonded with Psycho the cat so they now have their combined curmudgeonliness to keep them warm.
CSA has now been fixed at £5 a fortnight. Daniel will be 52 when the last payment (all without interest) is made lol. He can take his grandchildren out for a Mars Bar on that.
Cancer appears to be behaving. Liver function tests show I'm an alcoholic which is a tad worrying as I don't drink. They're being redone next week.
The kitten is fully adopted and answers to the name of "I'm Adorable". He's no idea who Toby's meant to be :rotfl:
HUsky has an advent calendar which she enjoys. Grandad got SB a One Direction boy band calendar. He was torn between refusing it and the chocolate within...chocolate won :T:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Thanks Beanie.
Small Boy is really enjoying it. Not sure what his next step will be...I think they're filling out UCCA forms but a good reminder for me to check on progress:rotfl:
I hope your boy is enjoying as well.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Yes, UCAS forms in progress.
DS really enjoyed NHC year & opted to do HND year instead of going into second year at Napier.
Shall see what happens next!!!

Hi Taxi,
Think I'm in remission...they were a bit vague. Rightly or wrongly I won't be convinced that's it's not just hiding in a dark corner licking its wounds and getting ready for another fight.
Hope you're feeling a bit better. I am definately still feeling tired and sore but you did warn me it would be like that for a time so I'm just rolling with it.
