    Thank you all.

I have a PET Scan tomorrow...doesn't involve shoving kitten down my shirt. That will show it it's moved to my bones.

CT Scan on Saturday will show if it's in my liver or lungs.

Treatment plan on Monday. Having a nice fight (I love him to bits) with surgeon. I want chemo then surgery, her wants to whip out his scalpel.

Unless there's a difference in outcome (which today there's not)...I want chemo over and done with as quickly as possible because I hate it.

I've been off work all last week and again today. I'm not "ill" but I'm tired and my heads all over the shop. I'll see how I feel tomorrow once I've been to hospital; but may take time off until Monday. Feels like weeks but has only been a few days. Poor surgeon couldn't make eye contact on Monday. He'd rushed through the path results from biopsy marathon last Wednesday and had them just before I got there. Kept cuddling me and saying he'd make it better.

So once we know where we're going and when, then I'll set up a new diary to get us through the second round.

Small boy knows and is handling it well. As he says we've done it once and can do it again.

    Thank you all.

Good news - they phoned this afternoon to say Bone Scan is clear :j

So liver and lungs tomorrow - sounds like a recipe for haggis - and we'll get the picture on Monday.

Annoying bit for me is no-one's saying the same thing twice. Chemo and surgery, surgery-chemo-more surgery, surgery and no chemo. Bottoms...just fix it please.

I'm hoping it'll be fast whatever way, it's definitely growing. Not my imagination or stress...it takes more fingers to cover it now and they haven't changed in size!! That's quite scary :(

Yeah to it not being in your bones. But boo hiss to the rest. I guess they won't know for sure the order of events until all the scans are in. I would be scared too if I could tell that a lump was growing. gulp to that.

Fingers crossed they get their act together this week.

Great news on the bone scan being clear
Good luck for the other scan
Guess they won't know what to do until they know all the results
    Big hugs as always x
  • The bone scan being clear is a huge YAY. The growing tumour definitely a huge NAY. Hopefully the scan will show them exactly what plan of attack they need to do to sort you out.

    Hello.

CT Scan is done. Unit was like a ghost town, a lot of people weren't turning up due to the snow. They've promised to try and have it written up for case conference on Monday morning.

Been shopping and got plenty in for the week. Made chicken soup, roasted a chicken and home made potato salad. Taken some soup through to dad to make sure his diet varies from boiled eggs and corned beef ... he knows what he likes :)

His house has now been sold...monies should clear next week so next decision is what we do with it. Given the fact my brother was paid off 18 months ago (a fortnight after the first diagnosis) this will be mine. I have to consider the morbid thought that if I'm very ill as opposed to pretty ill that I may just get dad to give it all to SB. Otherwise if it comes to me and I die then 40% will disappear to inheritance tax straight away. Timing seems to be really poor with me and this disease.
