Hi KJ - just state looking for work
I wouldn't mention cancer at this point - they are not allowed to discriminate against you - they are no longer allowed to ask health questions even if you bring it up before job offer - don't give them an opening....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SH...I'll do that.
Well I hope you're ready for the amazing tale of me being paid money by the CSA!!
After 5 and half years the CSA have now got £22 out of ex-OH two weeks running. Only taken 12 assessments, 2 liability orders and a court date but never lose heart.
Rough estimate is (given DS is 18 and half now) that arrears will be paid by his 25th birthday. But, dear friends, that can all go towards his expenses at college / uni because it looks like he'll be there a while
What a wonderously efficient bunch they are and ex-OH is still planning on moving in here to "help" DS when I shuffle off - will never ever happen, even if I have to haunt the !!!!!!.
Off to do the filing now :eek: have a grand day everyone.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Hi Kissjenn still reading your diary.. I have been away in Germany... seeing my daughter who teaches in Koln... I agree with SH, they are not allowed to discriminate but hey when has that ever stopped anyone
...
I cannot believe re csa.. It really pees me off that a parent would not want to contribute to their own childs upbringing, either financially or emotionally. We should not need an organisation to make parents pay, and especially an organisation that is so inept as they are. Take care x0 -
Words fail me on CSA.

Hi Bast, Taxi and Beanie
So I think collective opinion is CSA are pretty pants. There's no other debt I know of where you get such special treatment and cosseting...poor wee dears mustn't run out of beer and fags money :mad::eek:
Small boy has his driving theory tomorrow so we'll be up early to get him into town for that. Hopefully he'll pass and we can get him onto the practical. It would be such a boost to his confidence and independence if he can get his license.
I've been very very bad re paperwork and stuff. I so can't be @rsed there's probably a special German term Jungians or some such group use...uberkannabeassed or the like. I've start taking my prophylactic antibiotics (and no they don't come wrapped in mini condoms) as I'm a snivelling disease magnet this week and this is to combat the effects of everyone else on me - bet that makes everyone feel special :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Good vibes for your DS's theory.

Thanks Beanie but unfortunately he failed
. He passed the Hazard Perception but failed the theory part, but I have him re-booked for Saturday morning...evil mumsie :T
I've actually got a fair bit done the last two days including letter to council from hell. Hand delivered it today and now await their next attack regardless of how many of stinky tenant's lies have been exposed. I get the feeling that they will hang me on the lack of paperwork re the non-existant eviction because I didn't evict her and keep telling them that. If you bu&&er off for 10 months and remove every thing of value from a property and admit you weren't living there...why in the name of all that is holy do I need to evict you??? I will never, ever understand this. Sorry rant over :eek:
Also paid garage bill (£200 for 2 new tyres, 3 wiper blades and full winter service). I happy with that and feel more comfortable that car is ready in case we get a repeat of last year and even more so if small boy is driving.
Made a claim for ESA yesterday, 3 months since chemo started and the whole SSP for myself from my limited company is confusing even the accountant. Monetarily it's pretty much the same but they could insist on ATOS medicals but shouldn't due to chemo followed by looming surgery and then radiotherapy. Doctor gave me 6 months of sick lines today, to cover back and forward 3 months from today. So a wee bit of extra income (any income) would be grand.
Antibiotics are making me icky so back on anti-emetics again. Felt awful this morning so went back to bed for a few hours and much much perkier. Striped the bed, got all the washing up to date and went out paying bills. Husky got a nice walk round the river and even came when called - now that's a miracle.
Pasta for dinner which I'll start in a minute and while the water boils I'll remake my bed. Means I have that lovely clean sheet sensation tonight and nothing beats that :j:j:j
Hope everyone elses day has gone well.
Almost forgot, letter from Small Boys school today...I've won the monthly 100 draw so lovely cheque for £70 enclosed (that's 2 theory tests plus breakfast on Saturday :T).:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Sorry bout small boy but better vibes for Sat & yah to winning £70.
Hope that you can get the ESA sorted out.
