Glad the food turned out well. My DS is shooting up like anything at the moment and is always looking for seconds bless him! Trying to find healthy stuff for him that he will eat and that isn't too expensive isn't easy! I have to confess to having just bought a load of 11p noodles - he can fill up on them after school (before proper tea) and it isn't really costing us much!

    Hello.

Laptop died yesterday so that'll be a trip to PC World to try and revive.

Was at Small Boy's school yesterday. After last years exam disaster poor wee soul has been working so hard this year and the school have been superstars arranging extra tuition for him and helping him with college applications. That's a huge weight off my mind and he's being very open to help and working with people which is another massive step forward for him.

Council have responded about stinky flat. They now want full copies of all documentation but say its looking very doubtful they'll prosecute me!! !!!!!! ... prosecute me for being the one that didn't defraud them or wreck a flat...the world's gone mad.

    Sorry, rant over.

Insurance still churning onwards...half way there, just need their sign-off for the 5 outstanding quotes.

I'm glad they are giving help to your son for college....

Annoying regarding the council - I feel your frustration... They are probably just following their standard procedure...

How was today for you? I made it thro this week but am absolutely shattered.... I perked up tho after I made OH cook me chicken mash potato and carrots, leek and gravy... An hour o two after that I perked up enough to make cake... Just had my first slice... yummy!

Dinner sounds lovely...when of the few disadvantages of no OH is making all the meals yourself :p

Still awake as you may have guessed. This is a new and exciting side effect which is driving me mad. Almost longing for the so-tired-I-can't-get-out-of-bed stage again. What a moaning cow I am :rotfl:

Small boys father has postponed tomorrow again. So much for the new caring and sharing daddy he promised the other week. Leopards really don't change their spots.

Sometime officials say really unthinking things. And that is just being charitable. Sorry to hear your ex OH is letting small boy down again. That must really suck

    Hi DFW, Chev and SH.

Ex has always been the most selfish human ever, so very glad he's ex. It took me 15 years to pluck up the courage and then 6 for the divorce to go thru as he blocked it at every stage...but he's gone now and small boy and I get along great.

One bit of big news (maybe), I found a £22 credit in my bank account yesterday with a reference number ending "CSA". Could it be that they're finally getting some pennies out of him...so excited. At this rate small boy will be 24 when arrears are paid off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DFW - two seperate things with council. Night school mix up which they sorted like stars and allegations from a tenant which are vindictive rubbish but dragging on and on. Ultimate sanction is they remove my right to be a landlord through the courts so despite being innocent I'm very worried.:eek::eek:

Hi KJ - I can't see a judge looking at your good track record and coming to such a ludicrous decision.... What insurance do you have in place for legal issues? Any? Can you refer it to them?

I know I very easily imagine the worst and then have to step back and say what is a more realistic outcome and work from there rather than getting lost in fear...

Hugs again... Hope you sleep better tonight!

Well I made veg soup today including with chick peas.... put it this way I am concerned about its impact on the ozone layer:rotfl:

  • :doh:oh my bad (as my ds would say) I didn't read it all properly. Now i understand though :rotfl:I would agree with SH ..once a judge looks at your good record i'm sure they would agree with you (surely?!) ...If you have landlord insurance does this not include some form of legal advice/ aid?

I hope that the CSA has actually sorted it out for you, i'm sure the extra income wouldn't go amiss :T When I split up with my DH years ago we only had one ds then and I applied to the CSA for help. They finally answered my request......5 years later. By then, we were back together, married & had dd on the way :doh:they really are USELESS!
