Always feels like such a weight off when you get things cleaned up and cleared out. Happy recipient is a huge bonus.

I'm a closet hoarder - I really struggle to let things go if I don't know the recipient.... I do give stuff to charity - but drop it off and in my head I know they make at least £20 a bag normally so that makes me feel better about it...

Still - reclaimed some floor space in my study which is good. DD has helped me a bit with washing sorting bless her, and OH came back and unusually unpacked and packed the dishwasher (after I'd given him tea) so at least had some help today

I thought it was a shame Amelia went out on xfactor but I agreed with the rest... Are you still going thro DVD box sets with your DS?

    Hi chaps.

SH - glad you got some help. We're on a Dr Who-a-thon. He treated himself to some new (very ancient) Dr Who's so seeing these again for the first time in years. Makes me wonder that either (a) we were all snivelling cowards hiding from people in cardboard outfits or (b) the kids today are hardened to stuff (weeping angels etc) that genuinely scare me.

Chev - good frogging activity. My letters have arrived with my witnesses to the stinky flat so council should have theres...lets see what appens next!

And on that note, Jessops vouchers have arrived so camera being ordered tonight for pick up tomorrow. So exciting and if karma has any say meaning I can now photograph stinky behaviour means they'll all start being good :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Always love it when vouchers come thro the post. Started getting freebies from the freebies board too which is always nice to come home to!

I went out for a long break today - didn't do enough hours - met someone I knew and ended up crying! So think will talk to boss tomorrow as not coping as well as I hoped I would. I'm due to work a longer day later this week so hoping things balance out... Currently on hold to insurance company to try and sort out insurance for our new car... should get Thurs which is exciting

SH - listen to your body and slow down a bit. I know the itch to be completely recovered and have it all behind you is driving you mad cos I feel the same...but we both have to take deep breaths and r..e..l..a..x. That's the orders for tonight :rotfl:

New camera collected from Jessops. Also get 300 free prints which is an unexpected bonus. Total bill was £232.04 minus Tesco into Jessops vouchers of £220 and Quidco of £5.54 leaves princely sum of £6.50 real money I had to pay :T:T:T Very happy with that.

Also took Husky for nice walk and up to 7500 steps already today so hopefully 10,000 by bedtime.

Didn't sleep well last night, was almost 4am by the time I zonked so staying up for as long as possible this evening to try and maximise chances of natural conk out. Time to check email re insurance and see if I can get that frog hopping.

Insurance now back in the court of the Loss Adjuster. This will be a recurring frog I think, so more an amphibian landing than a single sniper. So advance frog is squished and others will be sighted and tackled as they march up the beach.

Call in to council re night class. They just won't answer their phone, permanant machine grrr

Hi KJ - the not sleep malarky is a pain in the proverbial! Literally a nightmare. Hope you manage to get some decent kip soon.

Well done on tackling the "frogs" - hope the council pick up the phone soon!

You're doing amazinnly well on the steps. Take your own advice and RELAX too and don't over do it. I've regretted when I've done too much.

I talked to my boss today who was very supportive so will hopefully be able to take things a little easier, slower and work from home when I need to
