Thanks SH...I will behave, honest engine. Trying desperately to stay awake as exhausted and feeling very sick but need some food and not to go to bed too early.

Hi DFW...oh how I empathise and sympathise. Stinky tenant clean-up was £2600. Deposits don't come close to covering costs and if you claim them they run off to Shelter or council, scream and lie and then when you produce the evidence it all goes quiet, never an apology or even letter to say they've dropped the allegations. It's a thankless role but until markets pick up I can't sell at break-even so soldiering on. (Sorry moan over )

Sympathies KJ - definitely cuddle up on the sofa or wherever and look after yourself

I'm currently watching total wipeout with a naughty chinese takeaway - and killing myself laughing at all the muppets while trying to persude OH he really wants to volunteer (not likely LOL) That kind of sadistic/slapstick humour really does cheer me up

Small Boy loves Wipeout, he will wet himself one day watching it. I keep thinking how much that must hurt being whacked by a bar and then falling about 15 feet at a horrible angle into a puddle. Why do the muppets do it - Kermit and Gonzo had more sense. Maybe not the Swedish Chef or Animal, they'd be good contestants :rotfl:

Enjoy your sneaky takeaway...always tastes better when a tad illicit :T

I love it when they repeat the face plants or show you all the different parts of themselves they whacked on the way down

Confused phone call from hospital this morning asking why I wasn't at a heart scan...em cos you never asked me? On double checking...oh yes you don't need that now. Phew, I really started doubting whether or not I'd completely mucked that up.

Off for coffee with friend, her turn to buy so should be painless. Will get some fish on way home for a good nutritious dinner...and small boy loves it :j

Have a grand day everyone, after 4 hours sleep again I shall be endeavouring to stay conscious.

Coffee done. That makes it sound like a chore and I'm feeling pretty yeugh so it was, but definately happier for having made the effort.

Came back to a message that council will give partial refund, have phoned them again to speak to a person (who was lovely I must say) and now getting full refund. So we'll use that to do research on our own or anything else small boy fancies doing to get us out and about together. :T:T:T

So 3 frogs done but not the Giant Amazonian Tree Frog of the accounts. Feeling too bleugh for those today but will tackle as soon as.

Fish not a goer...couldn't cope with it today. So made huge pot of lentil soup and put breadmaker on for first time since renovations so that'll be eh well 1.5 years :eek:

No idea what the bread will be like...soon find out (used flour etc from back of cupboards so very MSE as no money spent and yeast only 1 year out of date :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

hi KJ glad you are getting a refund - it sounds like you'd be better off doing things at your own pace than an organised course at this stage. Well done on frog tackling!

Glad you had a chance to get out with a friend too

Approved foods get away with selling out of date food so what's the difference between that and what's in our cupboards already... not a lot LOL in ny case! If it smells wrong it sticks together wrong when it comes out the pack I may chuck it but generally these things are made to last... I was amused a little while ago to find sugar free jelly from 2002!! from a previous house we'd lived in... We had plenty more up to date jellies it just must have always ended up bottom of the pile!!

Thanks SH and good point. I was worried that yeast would be less "puffy" but it worked beautifully and we had lovely soup and crusty bread for dinner. Small boy also had left over curry from other night as well...poor soul has to keep his strength up.

Husky is in garden with big slice of bread and butter, she loves it.

Time for anti-yeughs I think...god maybe this won't all be over in 35 days :eek:

Yeah to the refund from the council just goes to show that persistence pays. But yuck to them not even bothering to say sorry for the inconvenience!
