Well today has been a good day.
Updated my CV and got it over to my agent about 10am. 2 hours later she received a tentative offer for me to start in September. Hours to suit me, flexibility around hospital appointments, ability to work from home from Day 1 and no need for an interview. Worked with the chap before and as long as the project is given the green light the role is mine. Feels too good to be true...lets just hope it gets approval.
Then my favourite nurse turned up to look at the Hickman wound. He'd made me last appointment of the day and spent an hour and a half here playing catch up.
Finally went to the flicks with my son. Saw "Now You See Me" which was good fun.
So a lovely day for me and the hope it was the same for everyone else.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

Hi Buffy, I haven'y seen Monsters yet. If you're up Edinburgh way then happy to be your designated kid
Hi DFW, I love the Minions. According to SB they're getting their own movie so that would be a definite go-see. Now You See Me really went fast, the tricks were good and although the ending was pretty nonsensical it was a good movie. No real nasty stuff either if you're taking your young man...it's all magic.
Started the year end accounts for the Consultancy firm today. Will finish them later on and get them down to the accountant. TBH I just gather every invoice, VAT return, bank statement, receipt etc and she sorts it out. Being a limited company I'm too nervous of getting it wrong as HMRC and Companies House can be draconian.
Waiting for District Nurse now and then I've to phone prospective new job to get the full low down. Lets hope it's a real job and not simply a nice idea.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
